"Can't rave about this place enough. Absolutely wonderful prenatal massage. First time I've ever done it belly down, but she was fully prepared and walk me through it every step of the way. Pretty sure I fell asleep and snored on the table multiple times, but she didn't shame me for it. Guess it's a testament of how good it really was. The space was also very clean with a nice minimal aesthetic. Shared bathroom for the floor, but it was fine. Will definitely be going back."

"WOWWW I cannot say enough good things about my experience here! I scheduled a 10am massage through ClassPass, and my massage therapist was Maureen. First, the space is beautifully designed and so relaxing. I had filled out the forms ahead of time, and I really appreciate that they ask how much communication you want- from none at all, to minimal, to chatty. I myself like an occasional check-in, but am there to relax and potentially fall asleep. I've noticed that several wellness studios ask this question, and I love it! Maureen asked about the pressure once or twice during the massage, which is just enough. Now, the massage: I'm not kidding when I say that this was the best massage I've had in YEARS. I had expressed that I carry a lot of tension in my upper back/shoulders/neck but otherwise like to relax, and Maureen nailed it. The pressure was deep enough in my trouble spots that I felt the tissue softening, but then lighter pressure everywhere else. It was perfection. I also have to say, there's a noticeable difference when you get a massage from a place that feels like a revolving door versus from a practitioner who practices with INTENTION. Maureen's intention of healing comes through genuinely, and my body is so appreciative! Only thing I would do differently is book a little later time (not right when they open) so that the radiators have time to kick on. The table is heated; just the ambient temp was a little chilly. Final note: Meta offers a membership, but it's subtly offered via a framed sign in the room, not crammed down your throat like other places. I am definitely going to be back, and am even considering the membership!"

"Update on my previous review after the owner kindly reached out and offered me a 60 minute body massage. The massage was spectacular. Katherine was amazing and focused on the areas I asked. I came out of there feeling so relaxed and refreshed! Even though I didn't love the lymphatic one I definitely recommend the body massage! Previous review: Got a lymphatic drainage massage and although the therapist was very sweet and attentive, I don't think the technique used was very effective. I looked and felt the same after. I've seen other spas use techniques that instantly show physical results with reducing inflammation and bloating and unfortunately this didn't have that. Considering the price point I was hoping for more effective results :/"
