"Basic acupuncture. 30 mins for $90. The service feels similar to the fish tank in the window. Nothing personal. No interaction. The doctor said 4 sentences to me. "Allergies?" "No, a cold. I want to boost my immune system." Needles go in. "15 minutes." He says. Comes back in 15 minutes . " 15 more minutes," he says. Comes back in and takes the needles out . " OK." Leaves the room. I was struck by the fish tank when I walked in and how depressed the Koi fish looked and overcrowded the tank was. No gravel. No plants. Just an empty tank. Feels like a metaphor. I probably won't go back ."
