"I went to the ER on Friday night due to a bad fall during a tennis match and potentially broke and displaced my wrist. I had to wait for more than two hours just to get the X-rays and another two hours to be seen by a physician assistant, PA. No doctor ever showed up to talk to me even I asked many times. The PA confirmed that I have distal radius fracture but never mentioned that it is also displaced. He believes in his judgement that the distal radius is in place and no surgery is needed. They referred me an Orthopedist who is not available till Thu next week (6 days after the injury). I finally found two Orthopedists, One from Chesapeake Hand and one from John Hopkins, that are able to see me sooner. Both doctors confirmed that I have distal radius fracture and displacement and requires surgery. I went to Howard County General Hospital with a faith that there would be good doctor to see and treat me. I am very disappointed that no doctor was available to see me and give me the correct diagnosis and treatment by putting my displaced distal radius in place when the injury was still fresh. Perhaps if they have done the appropriate treatment, I may not need a surgery. I have no faith with this hospital from this incident. I will not return and recommend for anyone."

"I went there with severe abdominal pain and swelling. They made we wait in the waiting room for 3 hours without seeing any doctor or having any scans done. I saw people that came in after me get called into a room before me. I finally just left so I could go someplace else where I could see a doctor. They did triage me pretty fast, so props to the triage nurses. But please do not go here if you need immediate medical attention, you won't get it."
