"We are incredibly grateful for the care my brother received at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He was there for a little over a month, and every single nurse we encountered was kind, attentive, and truly compassionate. They treated him with dignity and patience during a very vulnerable time in his life. A special shoutout to the absolute best ,his physical therapist Puja, and occupational therapist Sam. Your dedication, encouragement, and expertise made such a meaningful difference in my brother's recovery journey. You pushed him when he needed it, supported him when it was hard, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. Thank you for the positive impact you had on his healing. We will always appreciate the role you played in helping him move forward."

"I recently left a pretty negative review, based on frustrations over the process and length of time it took to get my son to rehab here. It was prior to his arrival, and unfair to this facility. A lot of it was beyond their control. Yesterday, I arrived to see my son at Shirley Ryan, working his PT. He loves it here with all the loving and skilled therapists. He was so proud of himself over sitting upright unassisted after months of laying in bed. I expect his recovery will be rapid and substantial. I will update this review as progress continues."

"Had an amazing time here. I stayed inpatient for 3 weeks and my only wish is that I could've stayed longer My doctors ( Dr Bell and Dr Henderson) helped me progress so much in such a short time there. I went in with a Trach and a G tube and left without both of them. They also adjusted my meds to take out the ones I no longer needed. Myp therapists played a big role in these things too. I was eating only pureed things when I came in but left with an upgraded diet. I have both of my speech therapists to thank for that (Sarah & Elizabeth) even though I absolutely hate the swallow studies because of the Barium lol. My Pt's were amazing too ( Mary & Arthur). They helped me do things I didn't think would be possible with so little time including stands for multiple minutes straight(with help). Mary also helped adjust my chair when it needed to be without any problems. My OT pain management therapist Cassandra helped me get through my pain. She exudes so much peace and calm energy. All my nurses and PCT's were also great. Shout-out to Maddy who always helped me quickly and without a single complaint or even making me wait. Especially when I needed to get back in bed from my chair for pressure relief. My care manager was extremely helpful too with explaining everything to us and even helping me find a primary care doctor and setting up the follow up appointment with them. My experience here was absolutely amazing and they helped me out more in 3 weeks than the last facility I was at helped in 1 year."

"Shirley Ryan AbilityLab exceeded our expectations. They took care of our father after he broke his neck. It was a long road ahead and they had a team ready to guide us through the next chapter. Their attitude was phenomenal. They all worked as a team for one goal and that was the patient to have the mindset and the physical capacity to challenge themselves with one on one physical therapy, as well as the round table and share experiences with those needing more encouragement to push through. Truly mesmerizing to see the experience and the attention to detail. On behalf of our family we are forever grateful."
