Testimonials
"poor service upon first calling. speficially scheduled with the dr I wanted to see. at first appt, had to wait quite a while to be called back. then upon going in back, was informed that doctor was too busy to see me. in addition, despite scheduling my appt ahead of time, they double booked my appt slot. the Dr's office is more focused on making money and getting the MOST people in that they can then genuinely helping people. once in drs office, had to wait almost an hour to be seen. debated leaving."
"First mistake was to go to Shady Grove Hospital for a broken wrist. Second mistake was to follow their directions and to go to see Dr. Iweala to get follow up care. When I saw him the first time, he told me it was not necessary to get X-rays. Those from Shady Grove were enough and that I would be healing fine with or without surgery. Those were his exact words. He told me it would heal faster with surgery but he was booked for the next two weeks. At no time, he told me I had a bone who got dislocated and that surgery could fix that. I had a hard cast for 4 weeks, then went to get it out. Once the cast was out, Dr. Iweala stepped in for two minutes, looked at my wrist, told me it will be deformed for life, to wear a wrist brace and to do rehab. Recheck six weeks later. Rehab: the rehab therapists are nice but are overwhelmed with patients. Basically, after the first or second appointment they brought all the accessories you should use, and you do the stuff by yourself without much of supervision. On top of it, the therapist I had stayed totally quiet about my wrist bone being on the side of the wrist instead of top of the wrist, and she should have known that it should not have been that way and say something. After six weeks of rehab, saw Dr. Iweala again. He probably knew I complained and he was just dismissive and unpleasant. Told me that protruding bone was going to cause a lot of pain and arthritis and at one point he could shave the bone. Seriously? I did not trust him. I do not trust any orthopedic surgeon who has no specialty. He does EVERYTHING: hip, knee, back, wrist, hand. You name it! By then, I already had an appointment scheduled with a hand and wrist surgeon, one of the best around here. Long story being short, I am having surgery in a few days to reposition the bone and to give me a better future. I do believe that they saw me as irrelevant because of my age. I am 69, and 69 or not I run a business, got hiking daily with my dogs 3 or 4 miles, so my life and the quality of my life should matter as much as if I were 45! Cherry on top of the cake: I went to get the X-rays that Metro Orthopedics did and paid $6.00 for the CD except that I just paid for an expensive blank CD: X-rays were MIA. Because of their lack of professionalism, care and judgement, the last three months of my life, rehab included, was done for nothing."
"As a former elite athlete going to MOST and the entire team there make going to the DOCTOR a pleasure! Everyone is attentive, kind, patient, happy, hopeful, professional and caring. In addition, the offices have great views of nature and help one feel well and connected."
"This is just harassment at this point. They charge you for missing appointments or being late. I guess this is how they planned on getting a couple extra bucks out of me? LMAO I haven't been in almost 6 months and have absolutely no intention on going back, so how did I recently cancel or miss an appointment? Terrible customer service - if you can even get anyone on the phone! Avoid at all costs. This place is a SCAM!"
"Had surgery with Dr. Murphy in October, and scheduled the first 12 of 36 approved Physical Therapy appointments. The staff never did get the rest scheduled for some inexplicable reason. Now it's the 3rd week of February and M.O.S.T. is repeatedly messaging me about a missed December 5th appointment that was never made by me. Just goes to show how much Dr. Murphy and his staff care about their work or patients!! Maybe they're overworked or just overpaid."
"Dorinda went above and beyond to assist my husband in getting his surgery approved. We were against up against the wire Dorinda worked endlessly on a Friday afternoon to ensure that my husbands surgery wasnt cancelled. Five stars"
"Great place. My mother and I go here to see Dr Martin. Very knowledgeable and experienced doctor and professional PT here. Also it's covered by insurance"
"My experience with this doctor and clinic was extremely disappointing. The scheduling process was chaotic. I received calls from three different staff members, none of whom seemed to know what was happening or that I had already spoken to someone else. The staff came across as disorganized, cold, and confused, which caused unnecessary stress before the appointment. The doctor himself was unpleasant, dismissive, and condescending. He did not take the time to listen to my concerns and instead gave misleading explanations to justify his actions, which felt dishonest and disrespectful. His manner lacked empathy and professionalism. I left the appointment feeling unheard, dismissed, and frustrated. This is not the standard of care patients deserve, and I would not recommend this doctor or clinic to others."
