Inova Orthopedics and Spine - Fair Oaks

"I have always had a good experiences with doctor's at Inova. Doctors' Stinger, Hamilton, and Giuliani are top notch and I highly recommend them. They treat patients with respect, courtesy and with all my experiences, short waiting times both in the waiting room and examining room. Although I respect Dr. Campbell, I would not recommend his practice because in my experiences because they fall far short of the other doctors' that I mentioned above. His PA Kathryn (Kate) E. Stewart is the main reason for this because we have never seen eye to eye on anything. I find her to be immature, unprofessional and lacks compassion that one would expect from a Physician's Assistant. My interactions with her are completely opposite of how I have been treated by other PA's. I think she needs a few Masterclasses on Best Practices as it could only improve her poor attitude."

"Recently, I sustained a work-related injury and made an appointment with Inova Orthopedics in Fairfax. Prior to making my appointment, I asked an employee if they accepted federal worker's compensation. The employee stated they accepted federal worker's compensation. When I arrived at Inova, approximately one hour later, employee, Josh Coplin, informed me Inova would not accept my federal worker's compensation claim number without an authorization. Mr. Coplin stated that was the company's policy. I immediately called my agency's HR point of contact who spoke with Mr. Coplin, however, Mr. Coplin still did not accept my claim. I asked to speak with an Inova supervisor, at which point Mr. Coplin handed me Marion Sharpe's (Inova financial specialist) business card and said that I could call Mr. Sharpe with any further questions. Mr. Coplin then told me to step aside so that he could assist the man behind me. I left the Inova facility in excruciating pain, without medical consultation and/or treatment. Since the date of my injury, I have been unable to function and perform routine daily activities without experiencing pain. Unfortunately, Inova Fair Oaks did not live up to its core values, "Patient Always, Our People, One Team, Integrity and Excellence," and its mission statement, "to provide world-class healthcare to every person in every community we have the privilege to serve. In doing so, we commit to actively building an antiracist and antidiscriminatory organization and a fairer society." I do not recommend this medical facility to anyone."
