Testimonials

Debra Lehman

"I had 2 Big Toe Fusions a year apart with Dr Ellis and I could not be happier with my results. I can walk without pain and I am so grateful for Dr Ellis!! From the initial consultation, Dr. Ellis was exceptional. He took the time to explain the big toe fusion procedure in detail, ensuring I understood exactly what to expect before, during, and after both surgeries. His clear, patient explanations alleviated all my concerns. On the day of surgery, Dr. Ellis's professional demeanor, along with his amazing staff, made the whole process feel manageable and reassuring. The recovery process after both fusions was exactly as he described, and the post-operative instructions were clear and easy to follow. During my check-up visits, Dr. Ellis was always attentive, answering every question I had about my recovery. Now, a year after the second surgery, my life has completely changed. I can walk, exercise, and live without the constant pain I had for years. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone considering orthopedic foot surgery."

"Four years ago today, I was discharged from HSS after undergoing ankle replacement surgery with Dr. Ellis and his team. I had been dealing with a difficult situation for years, and while I was nervous when Dr. Ellis explained the procedure, I was hopeful it might finally bring relief. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. After years of walking in constant pain, within just a few months post-surgery--and ever since--I have experienced virtually no pain. To make things more complex, two weeks after that first surgery, we scheduled a bunionectomy on the same foot. That procedure was also successful, and I was on my way to healing. Earlier this year, I had a bunionectomy on my other foot with similarly great results. Throughout all of these experiences, I have felt truly cared for by Dr. Ellis and his staff. The office is always welcoming and accommodating, and no matter how busy I know Dr. Ellis must be, he never makes me feel like just another appointment. His personal connection and attentiveness set him apart from many doctors who can feel rushed or transactional. I cannot recommend Dr. Ellis enough."

"Dr. Ellis is amazing. I had been dealing with severe pain in my heel and Achilles for nearly 10 years. He was able to diagnose the problem and set a surgery and recovery plan. Now, 6 months post op and I can't remember when I felt this good. My pain is completely gone and I can walk and even jog. Dr. Ellis and his staff have been supportive every step of the way. I highly recommend him and HSS."
