"Dr. Nicholson is by far the best pain management/specialist at this location. The staff is very nice and caring. But, CRNP Garrick Smith is the worst person to have at any pain management facility that I've ever visited. I was being seen by him for a couple years several years back. Out of nowhere, he falsely accused me of having marijuana and alcohol in my urine, which is impossible. I haven't smoked in many years, nor have I had a single drink in at least 8+ weeks. He either lied to me, got my urine mixed up with someone else's, or flat out wanted to cut me off of my medicine cold turkey. On top of that, he called me passive aggressive, which I found to be highly unprofessional, incorrect, and very rude. If you decide to go to this location, see anyone else there, if he still works there. But, everyone else at this location in White Marsh was extremely nice and professional. Luckily, shortly after he kicked me out of the practice, I found a different practice that took me in and believed me when I told them the above. Anyway, good luck with your pain issues everyone! I hope all of you get well and/or feel better!"

"I went to Dr. Nicholson and had 6 injections in 2 series. 3 shots per series. The first injection in both serious worked for about 10 days. The second injection in both didn't work at all and the third in each series lasted about 4 days. I found this odd. In between the 2 series I saw this gentleman that I had no idea who he was or what his title was but he prescribed me Morphine. I find the practice to be highly suspicious and would not recommend him to anyone. Also Dr. Nicholson comes in, gives you the injections and leaves. 10 Minutes total spent with me each time. If I knew I wouldn't be charged with slander, I'd say what I really think."

"Hi I am a chronic spinal stenosis patient. I have delt with severe pain since 1998. I have had 3 surgeries,(one from car accident) physical therapy and now an Epidural. Being I do not tolerate opiods well, I decided to get an Epidural with a steroidal injection. Dr. Nicolson was awesome. I naturally had some apprehension but he joked with me and before I was aware..he had completed the procedure. It was not painful, to anyone on the fence on getting an Epidural. It may take up to 3 Epidural injections to work. It is an individual thing, so do not get discouraged. Have faith."

"All this Dr and place wants to do is give you shots in your back, instead of helping you out with your real pain. People who need their medicine to help them get threw their day without pain don't help. But all the ones that come in and fake that there hurting and all strung up and out of it, they get medicine. This place is a joke!!!"

"Worst place ever! I have an extremely painful chronic condition and they aren't meeting my pain management needs. I left one pain management place because they treated me very disrespectful to an even worse pain management place. Do not go there!"

"Excellent Don Nicholson treated my back pain and it was excellent, my back pains subsided, However, his staff was excellent and friendly as well also I' would recommend anyone to go to his facility for treatment."
