"This was the worst day of my life. I had one of the most traumatic and unacceptable experiences I have ever had at a hospital. I genuinely felt that my life was put at risk due to discrimination, and I believe I was neglected because of the color of my skin. Thankfully, I made the decision to leave and received proper medical care at another facility. If you are African American or Hispanic, I strongly urge you to be extremely cautious about seeking care here. I did not feel safe, respected, or properly treated at any point during my visit. During my time at this hospital, I was also threatened and verbally harassed by a police officer inside the facility. The officer acted in a completely unethical, abusive, and unprofessional manner. He used profanity, made discriminatory remarks, and attempted to provoke a confrontation instead of de-escalating the situation. His behavior was intimidating, hostile, and entirely inappropriate for anyone wearing an NYPD uniform. I was unable to obtain his badge number, although I did manage to take a photo of him. Both hospital staff and the officer told me I was not allowed to record, claiming it was against hospital policy. In addition, an IV was placed incorrectly in my arm, causing significant pain and bleeding. The plastic tip was improperly left inside my skin. I was not allowed to take photos or videos of the injury. When I attempted to leave the hospital, I was told I could not do so until the IV was removed. I became extremely distressed and felt trapped, to the point where I threatened to remove it myself. This entire experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency. The conduct displayed by both hospital staff and the police officer shows a serious disregard for patient safety, NYPD ethics, and public trust. Behavior like this has no place in a hospital or in law enforcement. Officers who abuse their authority and harass civilians, especially vulnerable patients, should be thoroughly investigated and removed from duty immediately. No one should ever be treated this way while seeking medical care."

Before, during and after the surgery, he accompanies his patients and makes them feel calm and unafraid of the surgical procedure. He answers all of the patient's questions and concerns with patience and kindness. God bless him."
