"I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible team at the Endeavor Hospital Pediatric Laboratory. My daughter, has a significant phobia of needles, and we were dreading this appointment--but the staff truly performed a miracle. The Child Advocate, Christina, and the two nurses who assisted her did a phenomenal, highly compassionate job. While I only remember Christina's name, I want the two nurses to know that everything you did for my daughter was greatly, greatly, appreciated! You made what could have been a deeply traumatic event as stress-free as possible. Maddie was genuinely amazed; she didn't even feel the blood being drawn! This level of care and skill is rare. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. What a phenomenal group of professionals. P.S. The toy room and setup they have for the little kids is mind-blowing--be sure to check out the photos I've uploaded! Once again, I will always choose this facility for any necessary lab work for my daughter (though I hope we don't need to return anytime soon!)."

"I want to take a moment to recognize Dr. Scott Yilk and Nurse Shannon. They are great people nurse Shannon had a great attitude and made sure she walked me through what I needed to do as I was in severe pain, she had great patience. Dr. Yilk made me feel extremely comfortable explained everything as it was happening to help ease my nerves and keep me level headed. As a guy who dislikes going to the doctors these two helped tremendously they went above and beyond. Great people"

"Had a terrible experience with Dr. Amyna Husain in the pediatric ER. My son had a scratch on his ankle he got from playing outside and wouldn't leave it alone. Unfortunately it started to look infected, so we took him to what was formerly Edward's Hospital here in Naperville. I explained the issue and you could see clearly and evidently why we were there. Somewhere in my describing the circumstance, I must have said he was playing on the trampoline. Well she must have forgotten why we were there and only read the word trampoline in her notes. She comes back in and recommends an xray and ultrasound. WOW ok she must really think this is infected bad. After some time, comes in to update us and says she can't rule out a growth plate fracture. I'm like growth plate fracture what on earth are you talking about? Her answer was "well this occurred on the trampoline, right?" I'm like no ignore trampoline, I was just detailing where he got the scratch, it isn't a trampoline injury, you can see the mark! Her response "well sir I can't ignore that, I am an emergency room physician, and if someone comes in for a rash and I hear an infection in their lungs, I still have to treat them". I was shocked! Why is she getting defensive, is this the twilight zone? I again reminded her why I was here, showed her the mark, and she steps out for a while. When she comes back "ok, so we are going to treat him for a skin infection". Well no duh! So she ignores why I am really there after being very clear, and we wait 3.5 hours until my son finally gets antibiotics! She forgot what brought us in halfway and only looked at her notes and saw trampoline and swelling. The trampoline was insignificant, and her negligence costed us hours of time of him needing antibiotics and not receiving them. I am horrified at our care and will be escalating this with the hospital. Thank goodness I was able to advocate, we almost were discharged with a splint for an injury and a orthopedic recommendation when we clearly needed antibiotics for a skin infection!!! Absolutely crazy."

"During my labor, we had clearly communicated in advance that we wanted immediate skin-to-skin contact and delayed cord clamping after birth. We shared these preferences ahead of time specifically to avoid confusion or conflict in the delivery room. When our baby was born, the attending nurse responded "no" in a rude and dismissive manner when we asked for uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact. She stated that her shift was about to end and that they needed to weigh and measure the baby immediately. The baby was taken away for approximately 10 minutes during the golden hour for measurements. As a result, we were denied uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact during this critical bonding period. This was extremely upsetting. The golden hour is a vital and irreplaceable time for bonding and newborn health. It was heartbreaking to have that time interrupted due to shift timing and convenience. We felt unheard, dismissed, and unsupported during one of the most vulnerable and important moments of our lives. I strongly urge the hospital to review this incident and reinforce respectful communication and adherence to evidence-based birth practices, regardless of staff shift changes. No family should have to plead for basic, well-established newborn care practices."

"I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the medical staff at this hospital for their professionalism, care, and kind attitude toward patients. I recently received treatment here, and I was very impressed with the quality of service. Special thanks to the doctors who explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and truly helped me recover. The nurses were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was quite good -- everything was well organized. It's rare to find such a combination of professionalism and genuine compassion. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your patients! I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality medical care and kind-hearted staff."

"I am really happy with the quality of care and staffing from this hospital, I have gone frequently for different things and 99% of the people I come across are compassionate and kind. I got lost once and a janitor stopped cleaning and walked me to where I needed to be, when I told him it wasn't his job and I appreciated it he told me it was his job to help people. I think that speaks strongly to the team they have there. I don't mind coming here at all! They are all very pleasant."

"When in here to pick up some medical records. A nice young lady behind the counter helped me. I don't remember her name. A beautiful dark-skinned lady with a nose ring. I hope her manager sees this. So she was so polite when I was giving her my information and she said it'll be about 15 minutes that I can have a seat and wait. So I'm having a seat and waiting and within 5 minutes she actually walked out to me and handed me the medical records. She went above and beyond. I expected just to be called to the window. But she did this. Thank you so much sweet lady. God's blessings to you."

"From the pre-op nurse calls to the escort to the car, my experience the day of my procedure was top-notch. The registration desk, nurses, technicians, doctors, etc. were all fantastic. I could not have asked for a better surgical experience. Everyone was kind, caring, and considerate. The day's events ran like clockwork within a well oiled machine. I was home hours before I expected! My only criticism was how long I had to wait for my surgery date. There were about five weeks between scheduling and the actual procedure (and I took the first available appointment offered). I wish it could've been done sooner, especially because we are testing for cancerous cells. The anxiety this past month has been challenging and I am anxiously awaiting the results."
