"Review is on behalf of my father who is the patient. Dr Bobrow was recommended to me by a podiatrist I used to work for. First visit was fine, straight to the point and informative. Unfortunately we missed 2 follow-up visits with Dr. Bobrow because I was unable to take time off work to accompany my dad to his appointments. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so on those occasions. At our second visit (five weeks after the first), the appointment felt very short and dismissive, he didn't even give us the chance to share what my dad did which was (PT for 5 weeks 2x a week, continuous splint use for 2 weeks, and use of a brace while working). The provider told us to immobilize again and to do occupational therapy with someone who specializes in hands, which in fact we were already doing based on his first referral, but he continued to keep reiterating this as if we has trouble understanding......lastly, he then proceeded to say, "Follow up in three weeks, and this time if you do come back, don't waste my time." I assume this was said because of the missed appointments? And now I can't help but feel that we are noncompliant to him, but there are far more respectful ways to communicate that concern. I work with patients myself and understand how challenging noncompliance can be; however, I would never speak to my patients in that manner. The lack of bedside manner and empathy was very much felt. I expressed my concerns during checkout, and the office manager kindly called me to apologize. She also confirmed that he did, in fact, make that statement, which only proves my point even more. The interaction felt unapologetically rude, and as a result, we will not be returning to this provider."

"I a? 5 years in (since a 2020 knee replacement and follow up) with Dr. Borrow and I can only describe his skill, his professionalism, his personable manner as MARVELOUS!. I recently got an injection for a shoulder that was on the verge of freezing. Within 6 hours, I not only had no more shoulder pain, but I felt more overall arthritic relief than I had for months. This whole practice is, in my opinion, the best for orthopedic issues in the DMV. If it is a service they DON'T perform, you'll get a referral from them to the best in the area for your issue. Kudos to Dr. Borrow and I wish he's with Summit for many more years."

"The Summit practice is conveniently located by the Bethesda Metro. There appears to be consistency among the doctors there. Consequently, as an avid sports person, my injuries are typically minor therefore I tend to see whichever doctor is available first. There online appointments system is convenient and saves time on the phone. Admin staff are professional."
