"From my initial visit with Dr. Held until the completion of a very successful hip replacement, I was impressed by Dr. Held and everyone I dealt with at ONS. All options were explained clearly and once a decision was made to perform the surgery, the support from everyone at ONS and Greenwich Hospital was exemplary. The follow up and attention to detail by all involved was incredible, and I had never before received a phone call from a surgeon the night before a procedure, but Dr. Held took the time to do so in order to see if I had any concerns or questions and to offer encouragement. He also was in my hospital room within minutes of me awakening to see how I was doing. I am 2 weeks out from the surgery, and I am honestly amazed at the results. I was walking without any assistance of any kind after one week, and I am already cleared to drive, even though it was my right hip, and I am able to get back to almost all activities. The pain was surprisingly minimal and extremely well managed. I could not be happier with the results, and I was very pleased with the entire process, which seems a bit odd to say about a surgery.
