"As a health care worker I know communication is key. The communication in this place lacks and so does knowledge. I was seen for two medical procedures in the past, there was talk of me going for a third out of network, I decided to stay in network and called to discuss this and I spoke w two different clinicians both of them ..no help. They have no idea that there are providers within Stamford network with the same last name! I've seen two, one being a cardiologist,one being a surgeon. They were adamant about me going back to get referred from my pcp to see the cardiologist? When this is an orthopedic practice. I work long hard hours serving my community trying to be helpful and caring. This was the most frustrating encounter at a health care facility I've been to in a long while! Unfortunately the front desk and clinicians are the front face for the doctor and they made this office look horrible. To not feel heard understood cared about or to not even really listen to what I'm saying isn't the health care way! Between my commute and disappointment I definitely will not be returning!!"
