"I dislocated my finger early on a Friday morning. OrthoVirginia was able to see me that morning. Front desk and xray technician were awesome. Dr Weingold was fantastic. He was so friendly and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend him."

"My experience with OrthoVirginia on Walker Lane in Springfield has been exemplary. In all areas of care starting with a GREAT Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Thomas Martinelli; my incredible Physical Therapist, Lindsey Krisak; and all of the wonderful PT Techs who worked tirelessly. This is a most extraordinary group of professionals, and I feel very fortunate."

"Ridiculous.... Not only are your wait times extremely long even just to get seen. They wont even respond to messages on their beloved MyChart system. Had to argue with 2 PAs to get an MRI ordered, haven't heard a peep from the original doc since I saw him face to face. I had the radiologist send the images via Fax and then had a customer service rep tell me that's not possible. Even stating that "Its against Otho VA policy", that policy is no were to be found online for patients to review if it even exists. Ortho will force you into in person visits just to have the same conversation that could be had over their all mighty My Chart system. All they want is for you to make that copay, I have to work just like you..... Use the tools at your disposal... Would not recommend, go to a smaller doctors office, save your self the time."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Elena Wornom and her team. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. Elena Wornom is not only extremely knowledgeable and skilled as an orthopedic nurse practitioner, but she also takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure you understand every step of the process. Her compassion and professionalism put me at ease right away. The entire staff is kind, attentive, and efficient, which makes each visit a positive experience. I am truly grateful for the excellent care I have received and highly recommend Elena Wornom and her team to anyone in need of orthopedic care."

"Normally ive had no complaints with most of the doctors ive seen there. BUT dr. Thomas talked down to me and kept calling me a Medicaid patient because of my insurance and referred to that when telling me things I need but because of medicaid it probably wouldnt be covered even though it has in the past. He also wanted to give me a shot I had an allergic reaction to last time for 3 months but told me he used a different brand. And tried to talk me into it saying we'll didnt it eventually help. This was one of the most embarrassing and worst treatment I've ever experienced my entire life. There was other comments made to me as well that were just ridiculous and obviously not true just him pushing his opinion off on me. Which was so unprofessional. I wish I had remembered he did this one other time I saw him I just didn't remember his name."

"Years ago I had my right knee replaced. My memories of that surgery were so awful, I waited until I could barely walk before admitting to myself that I needed to have my left knee replaced. Having gone to the OrthoVirginia practice for a hand problem several years ago, I decided to use a doctor within that practice for my knee replacement. I couldn't have made a better decision in selecting Dr Sean Kraekel. He was the best. He was incredibly honest in advising me of what to expect from surgery and its accompanying recovery period. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions, even though some were probably a little crazy. He gave me excellent advice on steps to provide a speedier recovery. By following through on that advice, my recovery has been incredibly easier and much less painful than my last knee replacement surgery. In less than seven weeks, I am walking and bicycling without the pain I experienced before the surgery. What I was not expecting, and was very impressed by, was his asking me for feedback and listening to my opinions about the surgery and my recovery, discussing what worked best for me and any problems I encountered. I can't speak highly enough about the OrthoVirginia practice and specifically Dr Kraekel. I highly recommend the practice for any orthopaedic need and specifically Dr Kraekel for knee replacement surgery."

"This isn't for OrthoVirginia as a whole, but specifically for Dr. Daniel Weingold. I went to see him for severe bilateral shoulder pain was worse on the left. I had x-rays and MRIs in hand showing multiple tendon tears in both rotator cuffs. He spent all of 5 minutes with me, if that, did most of the talking and none of the listening. He barely bothered to glance at my MRI and x-ray films, skimmed the MRI reports, did a couple of muscle tests, and decided all I needed was physical therapy. He did not ask about my pain or what my pain level was. My pain is so bad it wakes me up several times a night. If it weren't that bad, I wouldn't have bothered seeing anyone about it. But I did not get a chance to tell him this because he kept interrupting me to shut me down every time I tried to ask him questions or provide more information. He was so dismissive I felt insulted. I am in my early fifties and far too old to put up with this sort of thing. Whether or not physical therapy is the recommended treatment, I couldn't take Dr. Weingold at his word because of how little time he spent on my case. I have decided to seek a second opinion elsewhere. If you want to be taken seriously, do NOT see Dr. Weingold. Added to review to respond to company reply on Feb 13 2025: The response from this company reaffirms my opinion that they don't really care about individual patients. Why should the onus be on me to contact them if I was the one who was mistreated? They should be reaching out to me personally (I don't exactly hide my identity here) to try to make up for my experience. Instead, they posted a few sentences of bland corporate-speak that indicated the doctor's reputation was more important to them than my experience. I've already made an appointment elsewhere and I am now officially never going back to this OrthoVirginia office."

"It is unacceptable waiting for 75 minutes to be seeing by doctor. Although I have an appointment at 11 am. I waited for 75 minutes without any explanation. What is the point of making appointment if you can't provide service? If we late 15 minutes for our appointment they reject to see us. Finally I was able to seeing by Dr. Yueng for 10 minutes only after 75 minutes without any explanation and an apology for being late. I totally understand doctors are busy, but we shouldn't wait for 75 minutes to be seeing without any explanation. On 11/7/2024, I went to follow up appointment. Dr, Yueng told me that I can go to see different doctor because I wasn't happy with my last visit and he can refer different doctor. I was surprised and never expected to hear that. I told him that 75 minutes of waiting without any explanation is unacceptable. He explained what happened the other day. .. etc, and apologized for that day. I thought that is over and but he keep repeated several times that I can see go to find different doctor or he can refer someone. I think it is very unprofessional. He should focus on treatment rather than scolding me for leaving unsatisfactory feedback. It is not I can't find other doctor, and I can find doctor easily. I had great experience from the past treatment by Ortho Virginia. I regretted returning to this practice. On my last visit he told me taking MRI is an optional. That's why I didn't do the MRI test. But today he said he can't see without MRI test. At the end I left because I didn't do MRI. If he told me that I need to bring MRI test copy, otherwise he doesn't treat me. He literally said he can't do anything because I wasn't following his instructions. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Yueng to anyone."
