"My Dream Team. The doctors, nurses, anesthesiologist, staff were perfect. I lost hope in pain management. Didn't know what they had to offer. My PCP suggested to go to Pain Management and I had no other option. I have went to every type of physican I can for my many illnesses and lost hope. Doctors stating its from the other illness, or im a very rare case. I met Dr. Sharma first, she is great, she explained what pain management had to offer and came up with a game plan, after looking at my many scans, test medical history and was on top of it. Everyone gave me the option to choose dates and times, they are working to help us whenever needed. They work very hard. Dr. Zachariah was the first doctor for my procedure, he was confident knowledged on what need to be done. Very polite and empathetic. Nurses relax you and make sure while sticking an Iv in your arm you were not uncomfortable. Anesthesiologist wow, I try not to show how nervous or weak I am, but the anesthesiologist I guess can tell, they make sure you are comfortable and hold your hand through it all. I was freezing and the anesthesiologist just let me know everything will be OK i had nothing to worry about and even held my hand. I was in tears. I came into the procedure room everyone was so joyful with smiles it just lights you up internally. I met the Master Dr. Poonia. What a relief, I have went to so many different doctors to see the cause of livedo reticularis and no one had a solution. My legs were constantly swollen and my feet always freezing and in pain. Right away Dr. Poonia ordered a ultrasound explained everything to me to, someone as unknowledged as my self would understand. Dr. Poonia saw 6 distressed veins, with all the illnesses I had may cause a blood clot. The procedure was painful, but my other illnesses may have contributed to that pain. I would call the office saying is it suppose to look like this feel like this etc. Lilly was understanding, she assured me this is completely normal. Nothing to worry about and if I was worried would schedule an ultrasound to show me nothing was wrong. I trusted her words. Dr Poonia also had a set game plan from beginning to the end. Non stop. The office Made sure th eprocedures were approved for every procedure. No delays. I had all my procedures in a very fast paced timely manner. Everyone was understanding of my other illnesses did a medical clearance everytime before every procedure. I had to delay 2 appt one due to my illness went out of remission and the office was understanding. I thank whole heartedly to Interventional Pain Management & Ortho-Spine Center staff.
