"[*Update: Despite their comment claiming they would reach out to me directly (due to privacy issues) it has been 3 weeks and I have received absolutely NO form of communication from them since their comment here. I have reduced the 2 Star Rating to 1 Star.] This WAS my favorite place for physical therapy in Columbia, MD until a recent turnover in staff led to a major shift in quality. After two of my favorite physical therapists (PTs) left the only remaining PT was disappointing and downright concerning. After a month of trying different techniques with her and only being disappointed again and again, I hit my limit when I was trying to provide feedback on one of her techniques that I found concerning and she blew me off saying '"it's not for everyone". Let me be clear, I'm not "hard to please" because I don't like her dry needling style and theraguning ON TOP of cupping therapy (i.e. using a massage gun on top of a silicone cupping device) is not just an issue for me but is a concerning technique to use on ANYONE as both techniques are intense in their own way but to combine them is too much. That regardless if it may have felt good in the moment the trauma it creates, especially to the blood vessels is CONCERNING. After a few months a new PT came and although that appointment was more promising in the end I felt so uncomfortable being in that office that I ended PT early and am looking for a new place for physical therapy."
