"It took several phone calls to book an appointment, never reaching a live voice over the course of several months and then speaking with "Jackie" who sounded vague and distracted. Due to the delay in contact, not for lack of trying, I was told I needed to see the doctor for an assessment before I could schedule an appointment for a pain block injection, even though I was overdue for one because of their poor correspondence. I finally got to see the doctor who apologized for his staff's poor performance and the issues with his new software integration. I accepted his apology graciously and explained that I personally had experience with the disappointments that come with software platform migration. I then scheduled an appointment for the injection. Immediately following the consult, from the parking lot, I called to push the appointment forward 20 minutes due to the need to have transportation for the event. No answer, depite four people working the phones. After four days and three calls I finally received a call back. Jackie said she could not see an appointment for me at all, then after 8 minutes on hold came back and said, "you're all set", quoting my original appointment time, completely forgetting that the reason for my call was to change the time. She eventually gave me a new time and confirmed it for today at 1:00. I arrived at 12:15, not trusting my experience with the office, and was met by another doctor's secretary who informed me that neither Dr. Hochkeppel, nor his secretary were in today, that they had taken the day off. They had not called to cancel my appointment. I am in severe pain, not sleeping and not able to work to my capacity. These people should not be entrusted with other people's pain. They clearly don't understand the impact it has on their patients' lives and livelihoods. I don't know how to proceed or where to turn for relief. All I know is that I won't sleep tonight."

"Dr. Hochkeppel has been wonderful for my daughter but I'm having a really difficult time with the office itself. I've had voicemails from the office that they've had to reschedule appointments but no one calls back even after leaving several voicemails. I went in person to reschedule but now they don't have that appointment on record. Really difficult to deal with."
