Testimonials

GS

"Several years ago, I got frozen shoulder after a skiing accident. Dr. Cordasco was one of the few surgeons to tell me that I didn't need surgery. It was incredibly refreshing. He and his PA spent considerable time evaluating my injury, explaining my prognosis and determining that the damage evident in the MRI was old and manageable. When my son tore his ACL, we were encouraged by the first doctor he saw near his school in CA to undertake an experimental technique. When we had a second evaluation from Dr. Cordasco, he let us know that the new technique had a high failure rate in patients of his age group. In addition, the alternative technique recommended to us was not appropriate since my son's growth plates were still open. Dr. Cordasco and his team did a phenomenal job preparing my son for his surgery, making sure the procedure went well, designing an appropriate post-surgery PT program and monitoring my son's recovery for his ultimate return to sports. In addition, Lori was an absolutely incredible PA on the team. She was like another parent for my son, evaluating what he could/could not do at various stages of recovery and making sure he stuck to his recovery program without pushing too far too soon (like a teenager might). We absolutely love the entire Cordasco team and very much appreciate their continued care for our family."

"My daughter suffered a catostrophic ACL/MCL and Patella injury last summer while playing Club Lacrosse at age 15. We are blessed to have been referred to Dr. Cordasco at HSS (the #1 Orthopedic hospital in the WORLD). He walked us through everything, didn't pull any punches and gave my daughter the most comprehensive surgery and post surgical care possible. After 6 months of 3-4 times weekly Physical Therapy and weight lifting, she made Varsity for her high-school this spring while playing Club Lacrosse on her way to a full recovery with a Don-Joy custom brace. He preserved her youth and confidence for the rest of her life. I cannot recommend his office and staff at HSS enough. This guy is a movie star, but real. Thank you!"

"I had an excellent experience with Dr. Cordasco and his team! From start to finish, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The entire team works hard and it truly shows in the care they provide. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive, which made the experience even better. I can't recommend them enough--thank you for everything!"
