"Dr Brusalis and his staff exceeded my expectations. I had meet with 3 other surgeons before deciding to do my total shoulder replacement at HSS with Dr Bursalis. Maybe I over thought it and over researched it but I was concerned about being able to return to an active lifestyle. I knew right after our meeting that he would be the one that would do the surgery. He was patient and thorough, answered all my questions. Brilliant guy. He had a honest reassuring beside side manner pre and post surgery. Most importantly he is fantastic surgeon. I am 90 days out, I now have most of my range of motion back, no pain, my strength is steadily increasing, and you can barely see the the incision. I highly recommend Dr Bursalis."

"After meeting with other Dr's. and hearing that I "might need a partial reverse shoulder" and "I think we can repair it", I instead went for an evaluation by Dr. Brusalis. My right shoulder had two full thickness rotator cuff tears with damage to my bicep along with a bone spur. Having to wait 5 months since the original accident due to other unrelated issues, Dr. Brusalis told me exactly what he'd need to do in order to make the surgical repairs/reconstruction. He explained the process clearly, and after surgery and following the clear recovery and PT process I'm on track with full arm/shoulder extension. I had discomfort but only minor pain post-surgery, and it remained easily managed. After 5 months I have no restrictions and am now focused on strengthening and maintaining flexibility. I'm confident that my return to an active lifestyle and a full range of sports will continue to progress. Dr. Brusalis was excellent in surgery, very informative during his check-up explanations and guidance, and he delivered awesome results. Now at age 68, I feel good and am confident I made a great choice to have Dr. Brusalis repair my right shoulder. Thank you!"

"I had full tear on my left rotator cuff and partial on my right, with tears to biceps on both arms, and was in significant pain with very limited mobility. I went for 2 opinions, both doctors recommended surgical repair, but I still felt uneasy . Then I met Dr. Brusalis from HSS and he inspired trust, confidence, and professionalism, along with a happy and positive demeanor and immediately I was able to have hope for recovery. It's been 7 months since surgery and I am significantly on my way to as close to 100% as possible. He says I 'graduated' , and I am very grateful. Thank you."
