Testimonials

Ashvin Varadarajan

"Dr. Waldman is excellent!! I was so apprehensive about a total knee replacement. Now I want second knee replaced a week after my surgery. The staff at Sinai Hospital were all amazing. Aaron who prepped me for surgery . Dr. Sajan the anesthesiologist, her assistant who was really helpful, the nurse who looked after me post-op Janelle, and Maureen the physical therapist. The support staff at Ortho MD are all great. Kevin Rainey was very helpful, Marissa Jude, Dr.. Waldman's assistant was very good setting everything up. So lucky to have Ortho MD in my life!"

"After the surgery I was in extreme pain and my entire leg has swollen up. Dr Waldman gave me quiet peace by speaking to me very calmly and explaining to me that what I'm going through is normal. He had me to stop rehab for now until the swelling comes down. He is an excellent doctor who has a great bedside manner."

"I couldn't believe that when I called at 10:00 am for an appointment I got one for 12:45 THE SAME DAY!!! And then they took me back on time. Updated my info then they took me for my X-rays- which was well done. Got returned to my room- followed almost immediately by the PA coming in and reviewing the results and going over options. Dr. W came in shortly examined me- discussed my condition and options. He then gave me an injection to the knee. Ok all of that to say I was very pleased with my entire experience and the people who made it so!"

"I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Waldman very quickly. The staff at the front desk were helpful and made checking in and out easy. The woman who took me back to the exam room was pleasant and efficient. Both the physician's assistant and Dr. Waldman were very thorough with their review of my test results, exam, and specifications for follow-up treatment. I had a great experience and feel that I received the best care I could have hoped for."

"Dr. Waldman was my second opinion and he's WONDERFUL. The first surgeon I consulted about a hip replacement was dismissive and, well, just a bad vibe. Dr. Waldman had an amazing bedside manner, talked to me in a collaborative way, answered my questions, and made me feel optimistic about returning to my life. Can't recommend him enough."

"Dr Waldman is fantastic! He did a right hip replacement for me 10 years ago and it went so seamlessly that I'm extremely grateful that he will be replacing my left hip in the near future. With his expertise along with his open and reassuring manner, he's a real standout physician."

"If I could give 10+ stars on this Physician visit I would. I drove over an hour to see Dr. Waldman, after recommendations from family & patients who have had successful joint replacement surgery with him & doing my own research on knee replacement Ortho.Surgeons on younger patients (<50). As a Nurse, who has worked Orthopaedics, now that I'm on the other side, requiring the surgery, I've been putting it off way too long because of being so nervous & hesitant (Nurses are the worst pts right?), that I can hardly bare weight on that leg some days. My husband who went with me, & I left that office feeling so optimistic. The surgery outcome & specialized knee that will be made for me with the technology he uses, I now have no doubt it will be a success. But almost more important to me, was how much he listened, his "bedside manner". I came in with questions & I was nervous. He was so patient & took time to listen, & answered all my questions, explained everything. To sit down and actually show us the images of my knee & exactly what is going on; I felt almost relieved to know this pain is legitimate & the reason was shown & explained. Even asking about work & paperwork needed, I was assured the office will help with everything, & that is definitely a big stress relief, especially when you're working FT, & suddenly can't perform some of your duties & have a surgery ahead. I have consulted with quite a few, but I know I found the best Orthopaedic Surgeon for my knee replacement."
