"Rehabilitation Associates - A Cure for Imbalance, Vertigo and Dizziness due to Ear Crystals This place greatly improved my quality of life. For years I was suffering from vertigo and imbalance due to "ear crystals" or loose canaliths. According to the Mayo Clinic, loose canalith particles in the ear cause a condition known as BPPV - benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. BPPV causes intense spinning and dizziness when your head is moved in a certain direction. Many people, for example, almost black out when tilting their head upward and are frequently unsteady and off balance when walking. The Mayo Clinic points out that BPPV is caused when tiny canalith particles in the inner ear break loose and move into the semicircular canals in the inner ear. Fortunately, this condition can be cured by the Epley procedure, also known as vestibular therapy, whereby the canalith particles are moved to an area of the ear where the particles won't cause dizziness. The procedure uses simple head movements to move the canalith particles and according to the Mayo Clinic is successful for 80% of people after only one or two treatments. After a lengthy questionnaire process with Craig, the expert Rehab Associates Physical Therapist, he moved my head in a series of movements which only took about ten minutes and my problem was completely resolved and it was like getting a new life and being released from a prison of agony and vertigo. If you have this problem with vertigo, it may be curable in short order. The horrifying part of this story is that I suffered from severe vertigo for almost three years and NEVER during my numerous visits to ear doctors at a major medical group did they mention anything to me about vestibular therapy. It seems astonishing that a group practice of ear doctors would not know about vestibular therapy which I learned about from Google searches. Just one more example of why you should do your own research and not blindly believe "the experts". In addition, the ear doctors I sought treatment from both appeared to be in their late seventies - don't doctors ever learn anything new or go to continuing education courses??? Rehab Therapy changed my life for the better in innumerable ways and I highly recommend them."

"I was referred to Craig for severe TMJ issues, and he has been nothing short of amazing. I had struggled with constant pain and very limited mobility in my jaw for weeks but started seeing dramatic improvement after even the first session with Craig. I left each session feeling more and more improved and was taught the proper way to complete exercises at home as well, with everything carefully tailored to balance my level of tolerance with exactly what I needed to continue to improve. Craig is extremely professional, friendly and kind. In fact, everyone there was pleasant, helpful, and kind with each interaction - whether in person or by phone. I highly recommend Craig and Shelton Rehab Associates!"
