"He was good, but I felt rushed. I felt I was kind of 'ushered' out before I had a chance to my present relevant historical info and ask some important questions bc of his obvious concern that he had to get to his next patient. I realize that insurance co rules are behind this entire movement to force docs to spend as little time as possible w their patients, so it wasn't his fault. However, I left wondering if he was truly able to grasp some important parts of my history that I knew were very relevant. N It's not a good feeling when you leave ANY doctor appt wondering if he\she truly understood what u really wanted him to fully grasp. In many cases, an MD office will allow an extended time allotment for a first time patient, or a complex case, or a direct MD referral. But their office would not do that, only saying "Dont worry, Dr X will spend as much time as he needs w you." I wish that was true, but only for what seems to be a limited amt of doctors. Again, probably an insurance caused problem. But I didnt leave w the confidence I was hoping to get."
