As she read each pulse on my wrist and lower arm, she explained what she was learning about how my body's organs were functioning. By doing so, she's able to hone in on what acupuncture points she needs treat. In addition, Laurie's also extremely knowledgeable in using herbs for different health issues. Last week, I had poison ivy on my arms. Not only did Laurie do acupuncture to help with the discomfort from itching. But, she recommended herbs for the histamine and allergic reaction I was experiencing. After taking them for only 1 day, the itching subsided!! So, if you're looking for an acupuncturist who has extensive knowledge in both acupuncture and prescribing herbs, I highly recommend Laurie.
