"After years of bouncing around between physical therapy and chiropractic practices without real results, TGP was exactly what I had been looking for. Despite dealing with several nagging injuries over the years, I was hesitant to try another provider because past experiences never addressed the underlying issues or prioritized athletic performance. But when my adductor injury progressed to the point where I couldn't squat heavy or play sports at 100%, I decided to give TGP a shot after seeing them partner with a basketball training class I attended. From my initial assessment with Vin, I could tell this experience would be different. His thorough testing uncovered multiple strength and mobility limitations throughout my entire lower-body chain, and the program he designed felt highly personalized -- not a cookie-cutter plan. I also appreciated that both Vin and Paul are athletes themselves and truly prioritize returning clients to performance, not just basic daily function. Within a couple of months, I was back to heavy squats and playing basketball with far more confidence. A few months later, I injured my knee -- which we later confirmed was a torn ACL. I felt very lucky that I was already a TGP patient at this stage, and can't imagine how I would have navigated this process without them. Paul saw me the very next day for an assessment, and we immediately began prehab even before my MRI results came in. Once the ACL tear was confirmed, both Paul and Vin gave me the confidence that although recovery would take time, I would absolutely return to sport. During those early rehab stages, TGP was an anchor. I genuinely looked forward to my sessions -- not just to get out of the house, but because their calm, steady confidence reassured me that I was on the right path. Now, eight months post-surgery, I'm jogging, jumping, and preparing to return to basketball. Working with TGP has taught me to trust the process. Their individualized, performance-driven approach allows me to focus fully on the work, without second-guessing the diagnosis or wondering whether the program will deliver results."
"While training for the 2025 NYC Marathon, I injured myself 12 weeks into an 18 week training program. Not knowing if I was able to still run the Marathon in 6 weeks, I needed to quickly find a physical therapist to assess the injury. I wanted a physical therapist who primarily worked with athletes, preferably runners, and was recommended Dr. Paul by my personal trainer. Doing my own research, I found out he had lots of experience working with marathon runners; I knew I would be in good hands. During my first meeting with Dr. Paul, he diagnosed me with tibialis posterior tendinopathy. Knowing my goal was to run the marathon in 6 weeks, Dr. Paul devised a treatment plan that allowed me to work towards healing my injury while still working towards my goal. He crafted a comprehensive 6 week treatment plan consisting of weekly one-on-one sessions leading up to the race and a series of at home workouts that focused on strength and mobility. He also had a working relationship with my personal trainer, and was able to work in tandem with them during my treatment. Each session was followed by a detailed email of what was discussed and a plan of action if anything had changed. I really appreciated this, as it was great to have something to look back on and reference. By following the plan, I was able to get to the start line and complete the marathon with very little pain. Post marathon, I continued with follow up sessions to monitor the injury and am now pain free! Both Dr. Paul and Dr. Vin were amazing to work with! They are both patient, empathetic and extremely knowledgable and that translated into their work. The one-on-one sessions never felt rushed, they both took their time during the sessions to assess form and answer all questions. I appreciated how Dr. Paul set realistic expectations around the healing time and process, and worked collaboratively with me to align week to week with what was achievable. This helped immensely as a first time marathoner from feeling discouraged and allowed me to finish training on a high note and go into the race feeling my best. I am now more confident going forward in my running journey and know that if I need help down the line, I can always count on Dr. Paul and team!"
"Can't recommend The Game Plan highly enough - they were the 4th PT I visited after foot surgery and dealing with hip and glute issues. I was looking for someone who could provided dedicated 1:1 care and specialized in runners. Dr. Paul jumped on a consultation call the day I submitted my form! He matched me with Dr. Vin, who not only got me back to running - but actually encouraged me to try and go for the NYC marathon later that year (I had planned on letting my entry lapse as I did not believe there was any way I could run it). The 1:1 coaching made all the difference - Dr. Vin was able to create me a customized plan specific to several issues I was dealing with. The only time I ever noticed him on his phone was after the race when he was looking at my time splits! He was always 100% focused on me during our sessions. I also appreciated that they didn't push me to come multiple times a week, but actually suggested coming every 2 weeks so I could progress exercises on my own. I ended up having a great marathon race - it was so great to see Dr. Paul on the way! I really couldn't have crossed the finish line or gotten out of pain without TGP."
