"From the moment Dr Felix Gurman walked in he was very rude and arrogant. I had been on oxycodone from another pain management doctor and was wanting to get off of them I had had cancer 3 years prior and had developed radiation fibrosis in the right side of my neck which is extremely painful but I wanted to taper off of the oxycodone I asked him for help because I asked him for help with a lesser drug to take her down he accused me of being a drug seeker... Which is the furthest thing from what I am because I had asked him that he actually jumped up and said we are done is over with and walked out of the room I got up went out to the front desk and explain to them how rude he was the receptionist said yes everyone knows he is rude and arrogant why is this man even a doctor. no thanks to Dr Gurman I am now painkiller free for almost a year."

"I was a patient of Dr. Gurman's some years ago with recurring back pain. He was very good and knowledgeable in diagnosing my condition and offering me various treatment options. I really enjoyed our interaction and will definitely see him should I have anymore issues. However, luckily I have been pain free and did not need to return for some time now!!"

"I have been seeing Dr. Gurman for several years, for a myriad of issues. He has greatly improved my quality of life and helped me to lead a more active lifestyle, through several different treatment options. Even when he's busy, he spends time with me explaining my issues, options and treatments. I have previously and will continue to refer friends and family to him for thier pain issues. He's provided me with a better level of living, which I am TRULY grateful for."

"Dr. Gurman has been managing my pain and has been supervising treatment of my back and headaches for several years. He is experienced, responsible and caring. He is very gentle with his procedures which have given me nearly 100% relief in past without any complications. I look forward to future treatment."

"I have been a patient at Smart Pain Management for 3 years. I usually see a physician's assistant named Monica. She is wonderful. I have had a great experience with everyone there until today. I had to see Dr. Felix Gurman. I have never had such an unprofessional experience in my life, and being a cancer survivor with several health problems I have been to a lot of places. He busted into the office without knocking. He sat in front of me and said I failed the urine screening and said he had to test me again right now. I asked him if this could have happened a certain way and his answer was " I don't know" and stormed out of the office without even checking about my health or to see if I had any questions and never give me my script or telling me when to come back."

"Dr. Gurman was extremely rude and threw a temper tantrum in the office because my girlfriend was honest with him about her choice of treatment and reasoning. He attempted to discharge her without cause, which was unsuccessful. This man really should not be practicing medicine. He literally yelled at us and stormed out of the office. Three years later he posted this response to my review: Response from the owner 4 hours ago While you are not a patient I remember your girlfriend. I appreciated her honesty and told her such. Unfortunately, her "choice in treatment" is considered extremely dangerous and to be honest is likely the reason she was seeing me in the first place. I offered numerous reasonable treatment options all of which she rejected. I spent a lot of time with her and tried my best to come up with solutions, including referrals to excellent rehab centers in our area. I also discussed that she can remain my patient while getting help, which she also declined. I hope that both of you are doing better and wish you the best. Apparently he doesn't remember who we were at all, which worries me that he behaved this way with many more patients. My now ex-gf was opposed to injections and preferred to just have the surgery to fix her neck/shoulder. Referrals to rehabs were never discussed, which makes sense because she was not addicted to or abusing the medication she was prescribed. She actually wanted to get off of it. He did not spend but a few minutes with us in the office that day, and when he was told she wasn't interested in injections he yelled and stormed out of the room like a toddler. It's sad that his response to my review was a complete lie."
