Testimonials

"Unfortunately at a young age (31) I was in need of a total hip replacement due to a bad car accident. I went to 3 orthopedic surgeons before I went to Dr.Alexiades whom my dad recommended as being " The Best" I am very picky and I'm SO happy I went with him. He assured me everything was going to go well & I felt so comfortable with him as my surgeon. After my complicated surgery I was admitted overnight & HSS and everyone was wonderful. I have worked in hospitals for about 8 years now and the care at HSS is the absolute best. Dr. A was super attentive before and after and I honestly feel so much better.Him and his team really live up to the expectation of being THE BEST. Thank you so much Dr.Alexiades, you changed my life for the better!! Thank you!"

"A co-worker of mine, after being in pain for a very long time, was diagnosed as needing hip replacement. The next time I saw her she was thrilled. I didn't think anything more about it - until I was diagnosed! I gave her a call and she said I had to see Dr Alexiades. She had done a ton of research and that he did the anterior approach, and used The Hospital for Special Surgery, which is #1 for orthopedics in the country. I'm only a week out of surgery and I'm thrilled. Pain has been minimal - more like soreness and stiffness. I've been up and around since I came home two days later. My physical therapist is impressed with how well I'm getting around. I still have a ways to go in terms of getting full muscle strength back and not pushing too much so the implant can fuse properly, which is easy to do when you feel so good. I'll update in a month or so."

"I went in for a"simple" arthroscopic clean out of calcium deposits in my hip. I was told that I would be back to normal in about a month. It's been over six months and I'm in excruciating pain every day. I did not have any of this pain before I did the procedure. It is my opinion that he botched my procedure and left me much worse off than before. I've been back to see him several times since and been told that it will be fine but it is not. I can barely walk every day. Additionally I have been told by 2 other surgeons that the only way to correct my problem is now to have a full hip replacement. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON."
