"Currently in the waiting room, waiting for a supervisor after being told my doctor of many years, Dr. Parikh, no longer takes my insurance so therefore I can't be seen today. An appointment I have waited months for and confirmed with Weil Cornell multiple times since there is such a strict policy. My insurance is the same as it's always been since before this was my doctor. What standard of patient care is this to have no communication about something like this. You're effectively telling people that don't have nice expensive insurance or are independently wealthy their health isn't as important or their time. Shame on Weil Cornell for this gross "inconvenience" and it was referred to. Not sure I can relate to my health being an inconvenience, sorry. How are you going to fix this not just for me but for all your low income patients? Telling us we don't matter is not acceptable for a health care establishment."
