Testimonials
"I had a top notch experience with PREP and Jack Davis. PREP has built a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome, and will certainly put you at ease when you walk in the door. If you are a golfer recovering from an injury and looking to get back on the course, or just looking to improve your strength and mobility, Jack is the guy you want to see. Jack is a great golfer himself who is as obsessed with the game as you are, and will certainly help you play your best golf."
"I couldn't be happier with my experience at PREP, especially with my physical therapist Jack and Stella. They've been absolutely amazing - attentive to my specific needs, incredibly encouraging, and knows exactly when to push me and when to modify exercises. Stella's genuine care and expertise make every session both productive and positive. The entire PREP team deserves recognition too. Everyone is consistently friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Their scheduling flexibility has been wonderful - they work with you to find times that fit your life and are understanding when you need to reschedule. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and has a comfortable environment that makes you actually want to show up and do the work. I would highly recommend PREP and specifically Stella to anyone seeking physical therapy. They've made my recovery process feel manageable and even enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team!"
"I have been going to Prep Performance Center for eight years and can confidently say the physical therapy there is incredible. Mary Kate and the team have helped me come back from two ACL injuries to play Division I lacrosse at Penn State, as well as supported me through many years of maintenance PT to ensure I stay strong throughout my collegiate career. They have a strong belief system and great energy that encourage hard work and produce excellent results. Not to mention, Prep Performance Center also helped me recover from a foot injury so I could complete my first marathon. Mary Kate and the team are always excited to help their athletes achieve all their goals. In my opinion, there is no better PT clinic to help me reach all of my athletic goals!"
"I came to Prep after 2 years of debilitating back pain from herniated disks. Jack, along with a few student therapist, helped me understand how to better use my body when doing daily functional movements, that sitting all day for work is terrible and daily movement is necessary, what muscle groups needed to be strengthened and/or stretched out. I also started doing Pilates around that time, and the combination of both Pilates and PT virtually eliminated my back issues. I've been pain free for over 6 months now!"
"Exceptional Care and Expertise from Stella & Yahdira. I cannot recommend Stella (Physical Therapist) and Yahdira (PT Assistant) highly enough! From the moment I started my recovery, their professionalism, knowledge, and genuinely positive attitudes created an environment that made healing not just possible, but enjoyable. Stella is a brilliant physical therapist. She took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and the logic behind every exercise, empowering me to understand my body and my treatment plan. Her expertise is evident in the personalized approach she took, constantly adjusting and fine-tuning exercises to maximize my progress while ensuring comfort. I felt completely confident under her guidance. Yahdira is the perfect complement to Stella's clinical excellence. She is incredibly organized, attentive, and brings a wonderful energy to every session. Yahdira ensured I was performing my exercises correctly and provided constant, cheerful encouragement. She makes the hard work feel lighter and keeps the entire flow of the clinic running smoothly. Thanks to this dynamic duo, I have reached milestones I wasn't sure were possible when I first started therapy. If you are looking for a team that delivers both exceptional results and genuine, compassionate care, look no further than Stella and Yahdira. They truly are the best!"
"I started seeing Stella to treat a high level of pain in my shoulder due to Calcific tendinitis. She helped me improving function and regain my range of motion in a short amount of time. Exercises are well explained and monitored so I feel confident I am doing "the right thing". Massages and stretching are a crucial part of my PT with Stella and I always feel much better when I hop off the table again - I didn't think I would be excited to go to Physical Therapy! Her positivity is highly contagious and if I could I would give Stella more than 5 stars but that's unfortunately the maximum!"
"Our whole family absolutely LOVES Prep Performance Center! Most recently, my 10-year-old son began working with Stella to enhance his athletic performance in both soccer and cross country. After tough practices, he often experiences mild aches and pains, especially since his teams offer little to no coach-led stretching or strengthening. Stella's hands-on manual therapy is truly unmatched, and her caring, attentive nature makes every session so positive. She's not only highly skilled but also fun and motivating, which has made such a difference for our son. We feel so lucky to have her supporting him on his athletic journey!"
"Ever been seen only by an assistant for a PT appointment, no Dr.? Despite having an appointment with the DPT, scheduled weeks in advance, there was neither time or hands-on manipulation with the Dr. during a one hour session. I've been at multiple providers over the past 20 years in several states, and this is the only practice where I've had the experience of being shifted to an assistant for a full appointment, not 1/2 hour with a DPT and then a 1/2 hour with a PTA or assistant to do exercises. If that's fine with you, both Mary Kate (DPT & owner) and Stella (PTA) were both excellent when I did have time with them. They charge you the same fee no matter the level of education and experience. I pay OOP and for $140/hr, I expect to spend half the appointment with a fully trained Dr. of physical therapy, not a full hour with an assistant who has 2 years education or less. Out of 4 appointments, intake was the only "normal" appointment of 1/2 DPT and 1/2 exercise coach. It's just not the level of therapy I've previously received, and I went elsewhere to finish my recovery program The clinic's response to my concerns was "Our cash rate is based on the type and length of skilled physical therapy service provided, rather than which licensed clinician performs it. This is standard practice, since both PTs and PTAs deliver the same level of skilled care under the therapist's direction". They do not! DPT's, PTA's and non licensed exercise assistants are not equal in their coursework or skills, while all have their strengths and purpose!"
