"In 2017 I had to have an emergency Laminectomy to relieve the pressure on the discs of my lower back. "Cauda Equina Syndrome" was my diagnosis and it affected my right leg with foot drop of my right foot and general right leg weakness. I was very lucky in that the surgery was successful, relieving me of the immense back pain and, within 6 months, I was able to stand on my toes again. However, the associated nerves were damaged and those damaged nerve radiated a neuropathy that felt like a constant burn on my right leg, below my knee to my toes.
