"Dr. Redler is a truly amazing clinician. Her knowledge and experience shine brightly in her care. She made me feel extremely comfortable and supported throughout my ortho experience. She genuinely cares and has been great about following up and helping me through my recovery and future plan of care. Anise her PA, I believe, is also amazing at communicating with patients and keeping us in the know while waiting or when figuring out upcoming appointments. She's also extremely caring and makes you feel important and not just like any other patient. Truly a great office & a great team. Best medical decision I've made!"

"aka Annette Kielhurn - I've traveled cross country to employ the absolute expertise of Dr. Dean Chou ... and I couldn't be in better hands - literally. Not only did a friend from Walter Reid check into his bio for me after expressing concern for my lack of knowledge ... but laughed telling me how "he wrote the book on it".... Now, idk about any book, but the man is also referred to as THE best spine surgeon in this country - 2nd only to another in China who he also teaches along side of. Or so I'm told. As far.as MY reaction to Dr Chou's untouchable bedside manner and his ability to 'fix' just about anyone or anything spine-wise...well, as noted earlier...I traveled far to put myself in his very very confident hands. Dr Chou did my 1st cervical disc replacement with fusion following an accident in the Bay area of Cali. At that time...he informed me I'd need yet another surgery down the road ... Telling me " You'll know when ". And I did - 14 yrs later I knew who to run to for my 3 level Laminectomy w/o fusion. He was the head of spinal surgery at UCSFrancisco and has earned his way to Chief of Spinal Surgery here in NY ... and all the schools he heads, which are vast. Moreso, as a 65 yr old female suffering with this again - he instinctively knew how to speak with me....not to me - not at me. Dr Chou isn't your average Dr in today's terms...in fact he's more 'old school's than this Boomer!!! He listens, he anticipates my fears and comes well armed to each encounter. Simply put (if it's not too late) Dr. Chou and his entire team of professionals treated me more as a family member then a patient or client. I'll never be able to thank the Dr and his team at Och Spine...as I sit in a hotel room waiting to fly home 5 days post op...and ABLE to write this without much of the forewarned pain ... all I can say is a deep, humbled, thank you. AKielhurn"
