Testimonials
"I had a great knee replacement recovery process at Lakeshore Physical Therapy. Kate Marconi is the best Physical Therapist I've ever worked with over several years. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and kind. The location in Lakeview is spacious, full of light, minimalistic, and has Pilates equipment. I highly recommend this fabulous place of healing!"
"I came to Kate for help with chronic achilles tightness, and was impressed by her approach to PT. She's incredibly knowledgeable and offers thoughtful guidance on balancing workouts for someone who wants to prevent major injury. Thanks to her, I've become much more mindful about how I care for my body--she's diligent, expanded my exercise rotation, helped me improve my form, and I felt more informed about the benefits of physical therapy. Her commitment to education and her ability to connect treatment to longevity and self-management goals is what sets her apart."
"I've worked with Hannah on three separate injuries, and found her to be a wonderful person to work with, with a great combination of knowledge and compassion. She does dry-needling, which was incredibly helpful for a calf injury, and she helped me completely recover from a knee injury with exercises and advice, even down to the granular level of a better way to get off the bus! Cannot recommend her enough. I found the scheduling to be easy and the Lakeview location is light and airy-- a good atmosphere to recover in."
"The first and most fundamental question to be answered in reviewing any physical therapy service has to be: did the therapy bring the patient back to health efficiently, effectively, and pleasantly? I'm in my 80s, and over a period of some four years I came to Lakeshore PT with a varied list of problems unsurprising for my age and my habit of vigorous daily exercise; the problems ranged from backache and vertigo, through hip pain and a frozen shoulder, to a sore hamstring and balance. Each and every time I worked with Julia, Kevin, or Hannah, they resolved my issues with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency. Since my last consultation with Hannah a few months ago, I've been exercising vigorously, alternating with a rowing machine, a spinner bicycle, weights, and a treadmill, while working in between the New York Times series of intensive interval exercises and jogging a few times a week. I've been feeling absolutely great, and I'm reassured that it will continue because Julia, Kevin, and Hannah provided me with instructions on a series of PT exercises that I can use to address any issue that starts to pop up. Bottom line: Lakeshore PT is top notch. By the way, although my review focuses on results as the primary consideration, rest assured that in other regards, Lakeshore PT means quality, for example its highly pleasant and efficient administrative staff and its crisp, clean facilities."
"Great facility and awesome staff. 6 sessions with Kate and the lingering back pain I had been dealing with for 2+ months was fully alleviated. Kate also provided a full set of exercises (with tutorial videos) to incorporate into normal routine exercise to help keep future back issues at bay. Excellent experience."
"Genuinely can't say enough good things about Kate and Lakeshore Physical Therapy. Came in for about a month and a half. I had never done PT before so I didn't really know what to expect. The one on one care I got with Kate was amazing and better than anything I could have ever expected. She helped me get back to full strength and in the process taught me so much about exercises not only to prevent re-injury but also a ton of exercises that I now use as part of my everyday gym routine. In addition to her being a great physical therapist she's also just an awesome person that makes 7am physical therapy sessions enjoyable. I also couldn't believe that I found myself paying less for one on one care than I would at other places with PTs that would treat multiple patents at once. Can't recommend Kate and Lakeshore enough."
"I had two knee replacements this year and was fortunate for both rehab series to have Lakeshore PT nearby. It's a wonderful facility, spacious and organized, staffed by a knowledgeable and thoughtful team who always work one on one with you. Very organized and responsive at the front and very skilled and focused with the rehab work. Kate was patient but persistent, carefully moving me ahead, and her dry needling and massage were great additions to the flexibility and strengthening work. A great group. Highly recommended."
"My experience at Lakeshore has been outstanding. The therapist I work with is Constance. She is knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, kind, friendly and so helpful. Each visit she is on-time and spends the entire 45 minutes working with me. She is not distracted by other patients, she provides me with her full attention. Constance shares numerous tips, tools, and exercises to relieve my issue. She has made a total difference in my recovery. Lakeshore is clean, there is available parking, and they have great hours including Saturdays. I highly recommend Lakeshore and Constance."
