Testimonials

Stacey Chamberlin

"Dr. Thompson is the best of the best, truly. His bedside manner is second to none, his work is meticulous, he's VERY easy to schedule (it's almost unbelievable!) and always on time. No idea how he does it. He's done 3 surgeries on me on a complex break and dislocation, and I wouldn't go to anyone else for our family's ortho needs in the future."

Susan Forrest

"It was my 2nd visit I just moved here from NY I've have worked in a physicians office for 30 years prior as a practice manger .. Dr. Thompson reassured me about my knee problem and explained in detail the surgery. He listens to your concerns and is a great Ortho doctor. I would highly recommend him "

"Started off poorly, but largely my fault, I suspect - I didn't know as clearly as I thought where the entrance to the garage is. Will do more careful dance with Google Maps before another visit. That said, the experience inside was excellent. I was having knee pain and had completed my pre-appointment paperwork online a couple of days before my appointment, so my check-in was effortless, welcoming, and efficient. I was called to the exam room within about 5 minutes of my appointment time. The staff member who handled some remaining questions about my health history, my symptoms, and the chronology of my pain, and who took my "vitals," was very cheerful and again, very efficient. There was no waste time, but neither was there a sense of being rushed. Shortly thereafter, a radiology tech came in and took me across the hall for x-rays. Again, very cordial and a good sense of humor. And again, very efficient without a hint of being rushed. The whole thing, with 4 images took less than 10 minutes. Back to the exam room, and Dr. Thompson came in, introduced himself, asked some diagnostic questions, reviewed my images with me, explained what he saw in them, and laid out a few options for next steps. In my case, we decided that a shot in my knee was the best next step, and he explained what he would recommend after that if it worked, and if it didn't work. When he was comfortable that I understood the options and the possible outcomes - good and bad - he gave me a shot that was MUCH less painful than I had expected from having a needle in my joint. Two days later, my knee has had remarkably less pain each day to the next, and I'm optimistic about tomorrow. I'm a happy patient."
