"I was at my wits end dealing with excruciating sciatic nerve pain that ran all the way from my lower back down to my calf. It hurt to walk, sit, or even lay down. At my first appointment, Dr. Hosny was very thorough in examining me and listening to my symptoms. He ordered an MRI which showed I had a herniated disc in my lower spine that was pressing on the sciatic nerve. Dr. Hosny explained all my treatment options in detail. He recommended trying epidural steroid injections first before considering surgery. I opted to go with the injections and am so grateful I did! After just two injections spaced 3 weeks apart, my leg pain completely disappeared. I could hardly believe it - I had suffered for so long and now the pain was totally gone. I can't thank Dr. Hosny enough for figuring out the cause of my pain and offering me such an effective treatment plan. He answered all my questions patiently and made sure I felt comfortable with the whole process. His friendly office staff also helped a ton in getting my insurance approval for the injections.
