"Disappointed with Dr. Jonathan Archer at NJ-Orthopedic Specialist Office About two to three years ago, I visited NJ-Orthopedic Specialist and saw Dr. Jonathan Archer. I shared my dream of becoming a police officer and joining the academy, which was right around the corner at the time. During my visit, he checked my knee and bluntly told me to forget my dream, insisting I wouldn't be able to complete the academy. This was devastating to hear, especially since I had undergone a rough knee surgery two years prior and was working hard to pursue my goal. While I wasn't asking for false hope, I expected a bit more guidance or encouragement. Instead, his words completely crushed my confidence. Thankfully, I didn't listen to him. I sought a second opinion, got cleared, and went on to join the academy. Not only did I complete it, but I finished near the top of my class. Now, two years into my job, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my life. If I had listened to Dr. Archer, I would have abandoned my dream entirely. His dismissive approach is a prime example of how not to treat patients, especially those with aspirations. Sometimes, it's better to trust your instincts and seek other opinions. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone."
"It doesn't get better than this group! Dr. Zarah is beyond kind and compassionate and his expertise at knee surgery, phenomenal. All of the staff members in all three offices are also beyond measure. I heartily recommend this group for all orthopedic needs."
"Not recommended. After all x-ray and MRI, doesn't even bother go over any images. At least the xRay images. I point the area that I have pain, doctor K ascertains that it's an SI joint problem without going series of SI joint test. Such as crossing one leg to the other. I did have 6 month of PT, but I was recovered. This time is a new pain. Doctor K suggested injection to the pain area right away. And immediately show me the second option of doing an implant other patient has to attach SI joint. From what I feel, this is a very profitable clinic who doesn't spent time with explaining and testing things to patient but all it's images and procedures. I got a second and third orthopedist consultation, just to confirm, none of them said SI joint issue. And they have gone through several push test with me. I am shocked by how recklessness doc K's decision can be and without considering the pain a patient has to go through."
