Orthopaedic Surgery at GBMC - GBMC Health Partners

"Zero stars!!!! I made a appt on 6/12/23 and was told to come In 1:00 on 6/13 for Dr. Melegari. I came to my appt and was told my appt was Yesterday. Ok fine mistakes happen. I rescheduled in person to 6/14 the next day for 1:30. I got to thinking I am not sure about this place so I call to cancel. 1 minute later I get a call from the office that my appt was Today @ 1: 30.... This is beyond frustrating as I was just down there and told I missed my appointment. To say there is a lack of communication is being nice."

"You can't get any better than Dr. Melegari. He has taken care of all my Ortho needs & is very helpful in the treatment plan for my Lupus. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so helpful & kind which made me less nervous about my procedure."

"I just attended the Orthopaedic Seminar held in the West Pavillion, Suite 705. Clearly, mistakes were made in organizing this event. There were about 15 chairs, about 40 attendees. Since registration was required, (there were four pages of names!!) how could they not know there was not enough room?? People with canes having to stand!! Everyone there has an interest in knee replacement, so they probably are not very comfortable standing. I left after the first presentation because my knee hurt and it was way too hot in the room. Doesn't make me want to get my knee replaced at GBMC if this is an example of their planning. Sharon Naylor"

"Receptionist is very rude. I told her I was in pain and wanted to come to the walk in clinic and she said no you don't qualify. I guess you have to be losing a limb to be a walk-in. Then she tried to tell me I have a HMO when I have a PPO."

"Office staff was nice and organized. Dr Melegari wad courteous and on Time. Thorough and thoughtful with regard to explanation of injury with my youngster. He took time and care with diagnosis. Nice Doctor."
