"This was my first time ever hearing about this doctors office. Everyone here is so polite, helpful and knows there job! There were numerous surgeons to pick from and I chose Dr. John Wilckens based off his ratings that were outstanding! The first day I met him he told me everything that was going on with my knee and the best thing to do was follow through with having surgery. Dr. Wilckens was very detailed of everything that was going to happen with my surgery. He also gave me a brace to wear at work to relieve some of the pressure I was feeling until my surgery date. The day of my surgery which was on March 28, 2022 Dr. Wilckens came into my room to give the exact rundown of what was going to happen during surgery and what to expect after. He has the best staff working with him to help keep you comfortable and calm during the whole process. These are a few people I have been dealing with throughout my surgery process: Ms. Magnolia Surgery Coordinator is awesome and very helpful with getting you set up for your surgery time and knows her job she has been here from the beginning to the end! I greatly appreciate her!! Then there is Ms. Carrie one of the nurses who works along side of Dr. Wilckens who has been very helpful to me and has kept me calm the whole way with any questions or concerns I appreciate her! Then there is Ms. Ana who is very sweet and helpful when you need anything! Lastly, there is Ms. Ashley who is one of the nurses that called me getting me prepared for my surgery that day. I was very happy to meet her in person she was with me the day of my surgery and kept me very calm with everything! Also, I had the best Anesthesiologist her name was Francesca Uberoi she was very detailed of what she was going to do and how I was going to feel when going under. If you are looking for the best surgeon and has an awesome team behind him go with Dr. John Wilckens you won't regret it!!"

"The practice does not let you directly see an orthopedist - instead they force you to see a PA. I have seen Joshua May twice and have never come across anyone who is so unresponsive. His assistant Lori is just as inefficient. It took them 3 months to obtain and schedule my knee injection. He then told me that in order to reach him quickly I should call the office. I called his office and also left a message in My Chart - he still hasn't responded for over 2 weeks. I am now looking for a medical practice which cares about their patients. Johns Hopkins should be ashamed that this place uses its name."

"I recently saw Joshua May PA-C for pain in my knee. After doing an X-ray in the office, he went over treatment options with me clearly. We decided to start out with knee exercises/PT and re-assess in 4 to 6 weeks. After that time, I'm still having pain in my knee. We discussed getting an MRI if the pain continued. However, I haven't been able to reach him to request one. I sent several messages via MyChart that went unanswered. Also, the practice phone number doesn't give the option of leaving a message for your provider. Very frustrating..."

"The providers are great and I appreciate the friendliness of the staff at this location. However, if you have a billing issue, it will be a nightmare. You will end up spending hours on the phone with their central billing office that is run by incompetent people who give you an attitude from the moment they pick up the phone. First situation I had was when they cashed out the check sent to them by my HRA but didn't apply it to my account so my account showed a balance, then they LOST the check. None of the representatives could figure out where the cashed out money from the check went nor how to resolve the situation. They kept telling me they will call me back after they "look into it". Of course no one ever did so I had to keep calling while continuing to receive a bill. I got sick of re-explaining the situation to different people and ultimately gave up. Second instance was when my daughter had 3 exact same ultrasounds done 2 weeks apart - in the same year, in the same facility, under same insurance. The ultrasounds were billed under the same CDT (insurance) code, but somehow the first one was billed at $698, second one was $740, third one was $792. No one in the billing department could tell me why the fee increased each time for the exact same procedure. I ultimately gave up on this too because I simply do not have time to sit on the phone for hours."

"The staff was very courteous and professional. PA Kristen Davis is AWESOME! She listened, became familiar with my current medical history and went the extra mile to coordinate with my other physicians. I am very pleased with my care and definitely recommend this practice."

"Dr.Nguyen is a very good surgeon. He listens very carefully and has patience to his patients. He explains things very clearly to understand. More importantly, the surgery went well and the incision healed in the time frame that he said. He cares about his patients and make sure the incision healed with after surgery follow up. A very good doctor you could ask for."

"Dr. Ngyun was great! He took his time to carefully explain the options deleted to my hand, describing each one in detail. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed during the appointment. He came highly recommended to me and I would certainly agree that he was worth it!"

All of my doctors have been through GW Hospital for the last nearly 20 years, but I recently moved and was looking for new doctors.
