Testimonials
"The facility is top notch but my physician I was assigned left much to be desired. She was Doctor Vaidya P. Bhavana. I was there to establish her as my PCP and as we went through my current list of medications and current diagnosis she repeatedly told me that I was on too much medication and had too much wrong with me. Then the cherry on top of my visit was when I requested her assistance in prescribing me nicotine patches or chantix to quit smoking and she abruptly said,"I don't do that, that's something you have to do on your own". What healthcare practitioner reacts in that manner for a patient who's requesting assistance with smoking. She was thorough in ordering a cardio test and blood work and gave me referrals to a cardiologist and a surgeon. I found her to be very abrasive and disingenuous about my health and well being. Besides the encounter with that physician the facility and remaining support staff are wonderful. It was such a bad experience with that physician I have sought another PCP."
"A year ago I was seen in the radiology department for an abdominal ultrasound. During the appointment, the technician spent much of the appointment questioning me about my csection scar. She asked me where I had it done, was it an emergency, did I properly care for it, and she made it very clear that in her opinion they'd done a horrendous job. Never mind the fact that both me and my baby survived the operation and that there was nothing I could do to alter the appearance at the time of my appointment. She actually said, "they did a horrible job; it's not supposed to look like that." I was so incredibly surprised by her inappropriate comments that I didn't say anything in the moment, in addition to the fact that I found them to be incredibly hurtful even a year later. Not to mention the fact that her opinion of my scar tissue seems to fall widely outside the scope of her position. This woman said her comments with such confidence that I can only assume that I'm not the first nor last person to have this experience - and even if I was, others who are seeking radiology care should know that their appointment might come with a side of harsh criticism. I found these comments to be so inappropriate that even if I had received top of the line care otherwise, I'd be hesitant to ever receive an ultrasound here again for fear of having her as my technician again. To add insult to injury, although my orders were clear and sent directly to their scheduling department, I had to make two separate appointments because they did not schedule me properly according to the orders. This was frustrating as it required me to take two days off from work to accommodate the mistake on their behalf. Upon arrival, I had to wait upwards of thirty minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Generally speaking, I do not appreciate facilities which request that patients arrive fifteen minutes prior to the appointment, charge cancellation fees, and cancel late arrivals - then subjecting patients to excessively long wait times. It feels like a violation of my time with zero retribution, and in my case I was harassed about the status of my scar tissue throughout my appointment by a radiology technician who needs to learn how to mind her profession."
"Cathy from St. Bernard Eye Clinic deserves a pat on the back & recognition for her Customer Service Excellence I spoke with her a few days ago during a bad emotional time, trying to get an appt. to get an Eye issue resolved. The moment someone canceled their Eye appt, Cathy called me. I give her recognition on her patience, tolerance and Understanding "
"Not everyone is happy, Some people are happy and some are not, we all have good and bad days, Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior told us all to love others as we love ourself, And many are not doing that, that's one reason why the world is so corrupt because many are not showing true love and care like God commanded! There are many rude doctors all over the world, And there are nice doctors, there are rude patients and there are nice patients, In this world, we can't expect love and respect from everyone because many people out here are under The Devils authority when they should be under Jesus Christ, Love is not rude, love is not boastful, Love is caring, Love is patient, Love is kind, God is love! Until we all learn to love each other like God commands us, this world will end and God will come back to judge everyone according to what they have done, this world is evil and under the control of The Devil, That's why many people are unloving, people are evil. It's hard to come across a nice person, all bad things come from the Devil, and all good things comes from God"
"I've been coming here for years I love it personally. I see the negative comments but I love this place. The location is convenient the doctors are very nice and you get in and out as much as possible for a clinic. Of course sometimes you have staff with attitude but that doesn't outweigh the overall performance of the clinic."
"Took my 2 year old here because she was complaining of ear ache. I was told she couldn't be seen if we didn't comply with a Covid test. My daughter gets tested weekly for Covid at school. She was tested the previous day and that morning I was emailed her negative results but I was told that didn't matter. Also was told she didn't have a fever we went 10 minutes to another hospital and her fever was 104.1. I don't recommend this place to anyone Wish I could give no stars"
"I went to the Ambulatory care part of St. Bernard's today. Myself and the two oldest of my children were all cleared after being screened at the front door. Both my children had regular temps but mine was wrote down @ 92.2 degrees. Mind you, hypothermia sets in around 95 degrees. So they basically were saying I was dead . I could feel a fever creeping up on me but had no other symptoms that would suggest COVID-19(I've already had it). So I walk to the Walgreens about 4 blocks away, get a thermometer and take my own temp. 102.5!!!! Their screening process, people and instruments being used are far beyond flawed. They are putting peoples lives at risk by having security guards doing something a trained in the medical field personnel should be doing. Get it together and do better St. Bernard's"
"This is for the dental office that served my special needs son..all I can say is AWESOME. They did a great job with him very patient and understanding. Really put me at peace."
