Testimonials

M Scovens

"I had constant pain in my lower back and right leg. I had toes on my right foot that had been totally numb for years. Once I had my fusion of the L3, L4, L5 and S1 areas, I no longer have that pain down my right leg, back and I feel my toes, plus I can move them again. I have a lot of physical therapy to do, but my life is so much better today. Dr. Bradley Moatz is a great Surgeon and very respectful. He spends the time to understand what the problem is and focuses on results."

Terrance Thrasher

"DrMoatz. Was very excellent. He took his time with me and carefully answer all my questions. The operation was successful and I am walking without pain thanks to his skill. He makes you feel very comfortable and I am so glad I went to him for surgery"

Michelle Scovens

"Dr. Moatz, MD came into the room, introduced himself to me and started to explain my condition to me. As he was straight forward and showed me everything. I have only had one Doctor who did something like that. He gave me self assurance and awareness about an important medical procedural he would have to perform. The Doctor also gave me pros and cons of having the medical procedural. The staff was so patient and kind. Informing you every step of the way. I would recommend Doctor Moatz, MD to anyone who is in need of an orthopedic Doctor."

Freddie Frazier

"I was glad to see Dr Moatz and to get this expertise on my situation. Thank you, Sir. However, my situation has not changed and my pain and discomfort are still there. I was told I could go get a 2nd opinion, but that's just it - I feel I'm "running out of options" because everyone says of how "rare" my condition is and that they can't do anything for me... but I'm not labeled "disabled" even though I'm in excruciating pain most times. I can not sit down for a long period of time unless I sit high and it is very difficult to sleep. My best option is to stand or walk. No one seems too concerned about my well-being - it just seems like I get passed on to the next person. And Now, I'm back to 'square one' with finding something that or someone who will help me alleviate my pain or help me with my spinal and/or thoracic issues. Thank you so much nevertheless. I'm humbled and grateful for you even seeing me and at least trying. I really do appreciate it."

"Dr. Moatz is very detailed oriented and took the time to explain my back issues with excellent bedside manner and allowed me to understand all my options in a way where I did not feel rushed I would definitely recommend him to family and friends."

Mark Rockmore

"Dr. was candid about what he saw in imaging that was done. Gave his take on problems found, and how he would proceed. Explained what would be needed in a future surgery if done. He did mention one could continue PT to keep mobility and help in reducing pain issues."

Benjamin Rivera

"Dr. Moatz's medical staff was methodical and very thorough. Whether it is common practice nowadays or not, before the consultation, a set of spinal X-rays was taken, which was pivotal for the evaluation. Thereafter, Dr. Moatz's assistant (PA-C), Alexis Meehan, interviewed me and performed a detailed Musculoskeletal Functional Assessment. She took her time and listened attentively. When I finally saw Dr. Moatz, he had most of the information necessary to reach a diagnosis. When explaining his assessment, Dr. Moatz used the X-rays as a visual aid. This was instrumental in my understanding of the condition. Following his diagnosis, Dr. Moatz proposed three viable alternatives for treatment and sought my input as to which would be optimal for my situation. Upon selection, he provided me with a referral for an Interventional Spine Pain Medicine & Rehabilitation evaluation. Given the careful and sequential method of analysis, I feel a high degree of confidence that Dr. Moatz has put me on the road to recovery. Dr. Moatz is patient and listens carefully. He is knowledgeable and explains clearly and directly. I highly recommend him."

Christina Schilstra

"Dr Moatz took the time to bring up, and show me, the images from my MRI. He explained the images in detail, took time to discuss the plan and then gave me time to ask all my questions. He also has excellent support from his nurse and PA."
