"I have been seeing Dr. Belmonte over 10 years-- with considerable success in managing the variety of areas injured and stressed out by a 45+ year Nursing career. This physician is kind & competent -- I trust him implicitly. His skill has allowed me to practice professionally for a few more years-- rather than face a forced retirement. I have continued with Dr Belmonte as my pain management physician-- because of the excellent care I receive. Dr Belmonte is exceptional in his knowledge & expertise with pain assessment & purposeful interventions that yield results! Even with my insurance changing, I have stayed with him because of his compassionate to help me through my severe pain from my 3 cervical surgeries. He has been the best pain doctor I have dealt with. Thank you Dr. BelMonte for everything you do! I went to see Dr. Lee since I've been in severe depression from my last cervical surgery for last 2 years. This new treatment was something I was hesitant to do but it got me out of my bad rut and was starting to see things more clearly. Because I didn't know what to expect, I fought with the first experience but noticed I was actually feeling a little bit better after the first session and has been improving ever session. This was a unbelievably amazing experience for me. Another thing I noticed was that my mind stopped racing which has made me more calm since Ive always been so tense. "I highly recommend Dr. Joseph Belmonte & Chicago Pain & Wellness Institute!!! He has been my doctor for over 4 years before he even had his own practice. I can't say enough good things about him. I have chronic pain from an extremely bad car accident. If it wasn't for him, I don't know what I would do. He is a very compassionate, comforting, concerned, perfect bedside manner of a doctor, which is hard to come by these days. If someone doesn't have pain, they don't have a clue. Dr. Belmonte helps get to the root of your problem. He takes his time with you. I have never once felt rushed in the office by him. He has done many procedures on my back, which I landed up needing a spinal cord stimulator in. That has helped me so much thanks to him! His partner, Dr. Lee is also absolutely wonderful. She also is very kind, sweet, concerned, and a wonderful bedside manner. The nurses there are fantastic! They are always so friendly and asking how you are and your family, not like you are just another number or patient.
