Testimonials

Lola Jefferson

"Went for a sound meditation. Was greeted by the owner and also offered some Delicious tea (which i purchased). There are so many herbal teas, tonics, and literature designed to help you grow. Very clean, bright, and price efficient as well."

Alexandria Cummings

"Haji Healing Salon is a place of peace and restoration in the heart of Bronzeville. I have received several services there like reiki, sound bath meditation, and accupuncture- they all have been great! Oh, and the tea blends are lovely. Aya, the owner, is welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about each of the products there and is willing to answer any questions. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to visit."

"Today I had my very first yoga experience here and it exceeded my expectations more than I could have imagined. As soon as I walked through the door the energy felt as if it was grabbing me in an embrace that said " We have been waiting on you". Aya was so personable and walked and guided me through the Salon and so graciously answered all of my questions, I lost track of time. Rhya is an amazing yoga instructor, her class wasn't overwhelming or intimidating. I loved how she redirected classmates without singling anyone, she also gave us scented oil as a Thank you for attending her class. There was another instructor that attended the class and at the end of the class Rhya introduced her and gave information about her class, that was one of my favorite moments; because it was a show of empowering one another and no competition, so often we don't root for each other and that wasn't the case here. I feel like I found a place where I really belong and look forward to being a frequent patron."

"Really welcoming space created with so much intention and love. The owner greeted me warmly with some tea and showed me tarot / oracle deck library. Highly recommend! I got some lovely gifts."

"I found this place on tik tok, I was looking for somewhere sacred and safe where I can be spiritual, get supplies, heal and more. Let me tell you I don't regret it one bit. Feb 2nd changed my life and perspective, Kaiya is a wonderful chaman she not only made me feel special but gave me words of life and confirmation while I'm going through a struggle. The Owner taught me how to properly dress a candle at the candle station which I appreciated and will use in my own practice. I also got to join the community pot luck which I really enjoyed while discussing the book recommended (the healing wisdom of africa). I plan to definitely be apart of this community I loved every minute and I also have somewhere I can purchase my tarot cards in person Overall I'm happy this is a black owned business I will spend my money carelessly in here everytime no DOUBT ABOUT IT !!"

"This place was amazing, serene, and has a lot of herbs . Definitely check it out. I didn't know a black-owned apothecary was in Bronzeville."

"This place, this community, got me through one of the most painful breakups I've ever been through. They welcomed me with open arms. I did multiple reiki sessions and sound baths. They showed me light when all I felt was darkness. I can never repay them for how much they helped me in that time of my life."
