"This place is not great in my opinion. The doctor was late for my appointment and didn't even apologize. The tech who did the actual EMG work was great I must say. However, I've been waiting for my test results for two weeks now and they can't tell me when they're going to be in. They keep saying two to three weeks. I've also been waiting for a brace that was supposed to be ordered. They say they're still waiting for approval. I could have bought 10 braces by now. I will do exactly that..go buy a brace myself and just have insurance reimburse me. Worst of all is that there is no direct number to the locations and you have to go through the long prompts on the general number every time (So frustrating!) I actually spend more time listening to that long message than I do actually talking to someone. I won't be recommending this place. I've had an EMG before and it took one day for the results. No way a person in pain should have to wait this long for results. Do your research (like I didn't) and choose wisely."

"I've been trying to find a way to word this review without getting too personal, I've realized that pain management is personal and my review should be as well. The entire office staff were remarkably warm and kind. I made sure to arrive with my new patient pack already filled out and this made my wait time super short. The genuine compassion Dr. Abdeshahian had for my situation brought me to tears and lifted a weight off my shoulders. I was treated with complete respect, something I feel most people in need of pain management aren't shown."

"The lack of communication, disorganization, confusion and unprofessionalism blows my mind! I've been going to this location and Waldorf for probably almost 2 years. I can't believe I lasted this long! They used to stick me with a new doctor every visit. I don't understand how these people are doctors! Nate Turner changed my medication and told me everything would be the same as the last medication. I noticed my medication was running out too soon and wondered why. He changed the dosage without even telling me! When I asked him about it he said the instructions are on the bottle. I was seeing him through telemedicine. It was June 2020. I asked him how long they would be doing the telemedicine for. He said he wasn't sure. I became ill. He demanded I start going back into the office, but not until I received a negative covid test. It took a week for the results to come back! During this time I was running low on my medication and no one would refill it while I was waiting. Luckily my results came back before I ran out of medicine. They could care less either way. The next time I did go through withdrawals because Rhoda wrote a paper script, which pharmacies no longer accept. It has to be electronic. You'd think they'd know this. There was no way to get a hold of her. She doesn't seem to review your charts. She ordered an mri and didn't bother to follow through with the results. She also ordered gene testing and went over one medication out of many that could work for me. When I told her that one wouldn't work, she dropped discussing other options that might help. She also didn't follow through with a copy of the report she promised me. She had me take an mri and told me she couldn't view it, then moved on. A couple times she sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy, so I had to do detective work to find it. I contacted her because I was having bad side effects from a new medication. Rhoda's reply was to stop taking it. You don't just stop taking certain medications. Then she said to come see her in the office or just go to the er. She was so rude that she barely listened to me, and rushed me along. When I ask her questions as to why she has me on a more addictive medication, and if I could switch, she starts typing and dictating out loud. This way she just drowns me out. This is her thing. I tried to speak with her on the phone and she talked over me, then hung up. I demanded a manager several times, with no response. By the way, Anastasia is the rudest "supervisor" I've ever spoken to. She just wanted to go home. If you get her, forget it. During one of my first visits with Rhoda, she told me that the goal is to get away from the ibuprofen and to just take opioids. She does not answer messages through the portal. In fact, none of the doctors really do. I've complained so many times about different things that Cristy, the manager would have to do the replying for the doctors. If it weren't for her, I probably would have had to drive to the office to have problems resolved. They don't follow covid guidelines, and tell you to come into the office unless you have a fever. You can't speak to the office directly. You will be placed on hold for 15 minutes, then speak to a call center representative. For example, If you are running late, you speak to them, they relay the message, and you keep driving until they get back to you with an answer. Sometimes the line makes this high pitched scratchy noise, or it disconnects! Supposedly this is due to the staff being to "busy." They aren't too busy to talk about positive urinalysis results in front of patients. It's like they bet money on who is positive. Dr. Tannous is rude and pretentious. He doesn't listen either. He waited 24 hours to verify a script with pharmacy! These people act like pain patients don't matter! I dreaded every visit. I knew some type of stress or disaster would occur and have to prepare for it. Finally Rhoda issued a discharge letter For not listening to my pleas to change to the a more effective, safer treatment plan. The letter stated I was "noncompliant.""

"The front desk staff and medical assistant were awesome! They were professional and attentive to my needs. Dr. Ehsan Abdeshahian addressed all of my concerns and I was very pleased with nurse practitioner, Rhoda Palmira .She was very personable and kept me cheerful. She soothed my anxiety.I was in excruciating pain when I arrived at KURE, but left there very relieved. I will definitely refer them to friends and family!"

"I have been coming to see DR Abdeshian for 2 1/2 years now. Even though he is an hour and 15 minutes away. I dont mind the drive to get to see him personally. I see no one else and he is very patient an extremely attentive and the first Dr that I feel really listens (which is rare). I try to come prepared with my questions and always feel like our one on one time is very productive. I have various issues so Dr A does a wonderful job of trying to keep me out of severe pain (which is constant every day ) I think Dr Abdeshian is the most awesome Dr I have ever been to. One of my first appts I was in Severe Pain and he look at my MRI's and came in and said: I know whats wrong and I know how to fix it. He is extremely intelligent and very good and focused at all the procedures he does."

"It is VERY difficult to get them on the phone. If you have a question or your pharmacist has a question be prepared to wait at least 5 minutes before getting an answer. You also have 1 number for all offices. You can't just call the office you go to"

Wendy Carroll

"The staff is good but management has changed so many things that the have nothing to work with, no blood pressure machines, the wall computer is gone so they can't go over images with you, and now it appears the the cleaning has gone down hill, the carpet is dirty and nasty, I just don't know what to sat because the staff continues to give good care"
