"I rarely leave reviews, but I felt truly compelled after my experience with the team at the McKinley Park Athletico. I'm so grateful for the space they've created at this location. The staff treats everyone with genuine warmth, positivity, and compassion, and I found myself actually looking forward to my sessions each week. I was especially impressed to see several staff members go above and beyond to bridge language gaps with Hispanic and Asian residents in our neighborhood. They're making treatment accessible to communities that don't always have easy access to these resources, and it really shows. Edith was my primary therapist, and she was incredible to work with. I felt at ease with her from day one, and our conversations were something I looked forward to each session. She is clearly exceptional at what she does, and we're lucky to have her at our neighborhood Athletico. Highly recommend this location and its amazing team."

Cesar Mendez

"Every staff member has gone above and beyond to ensure that my shoulder continues healing. Their assessments were accurate and they stood beside me every step of the way throughout my rehab. Everyone challenged me to push myself and my main therapist, Ruben, even attended my Dr.'s appt with me at Rush Midwest Orthopedics. The staff is extremely friendly & welcoming and the facility is immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Off street parking is abundant unlike other locations as well. Amy, who is the manager, does an excellent job ensuring every patient has a great experience. She maximizes their time healing their injuries as expeditiously as possible while not sacrificing the level of service. It immediately became apparent to me that they foster a team-first environment here and the results speak for themselves. After a year long battle rehabbing a shoulder while switching doctors and having surgery, Athletico McKinley Park was the only constant that ultimately helped me reach my wellness goals."

Avelina Romo

"This location is by far the best! Receptionist Janet is super helpful and informative, and therapists Ruben, Aimee, and Edith are all amazing -- so welcoming and supportive. The techs are friendly, and you can tell the whole team has great chemistry. The energy is vibrant yet comforting -- you'll feel so relaxed you might even fall asleep! They're always checking in and asking how you're feeling. My teen daughter also attends and feels comfortable during her sessions. Great communication and genuine care -- highly recommend!"

Jason Lee

"I came to Ruben after struggling with ongoing back pain and trying another physical therapist without much improvement. My back issues were chronic and I was extremely tight, which is why I ended up working with him for over a year. Throughout that time, he consistently put real care and effort into every session. He was also genuinely kind, checking in on me during life transitions like being unemployed and starting a new job. It became a steady and positive part of my week. I'm grateful to be feeling so much better now, even if I'm a little sad to say goodbye. Hopefully I won't need physical therapy again, but if I do, I will absolutely be coming back to Ruben."

Alan Morris

"6 weeks ago I came In with extreme shoulder pain, and was referred to do dry needling. Ruben was able to help relieve my excruciating pain through multiple sessions. Thanks to him I'm able to enjoy my off days with my family instead of being in pain, thank you to him and the whole team they were beyond great from the moment I called!"

Victor Ramirez

"What can I say about this great place? Their staff is wonderful! Kristen and Juan and Janet and the other two young women have taken such great care of me in a month coming here. Only 2 minutes away!! Kristen figured out my knee pain and went to work on it from day one!! 14.5lbs later and i'm walking without PAIN!! The take home exercises are a blessing as they keep my hamstring tight. If I ever need physical therapy again or if anyone else can hear me - PLEASE GO TO ATHLETICO MCKINLEY PARK!!! Thank you all!"

Carolyn Kryl

"My experience at this Athletico has been great! Aimee had been amazing! She has been so patient with my ongoing complaints of shoulder and arm pain. She listens intently and keeps finding procedures and exercises to attempt to improve it. I think we have both been realistically excited recently that it seems to be getting better! It couldn't be happening without her attention and persistence! (And also with the help of the other PTs and assistants)"
