"I've been to a lot of doctors unfortunately but never seen a doctor like Dr. Cheng!! He's one of the most upbeat and positive doctors I've ever seen. His bedside manners are above all. I've had chronic neck and back pain for over 10 years. Fusion on lower back and problems ever since. He was very positive and assuring he will get me on track. He asked me questions no other doctors or surgeons never asked me. That being said this was my first appointment ever with Dr. Cheng at Rush in Munster,Indiana. I'm hoping my future visits are as good as my first one. I said I'd never have a surgery again if I can help it and this is the reason I picked Dr. Cheng as he will try everything he can to prevent surgery."

"All the reviews are true - Dr. Cheng is the best! Many of his patients, myself included, drive long distances to see him. I suffer from chronic pain and have been seeing Dr. Cheng for nearly 2 years. He is extremely thorough and always takes the time to explain his treatment plan to me in a way that is practical and easy to understand. Evn tho Dr. Cheng has a lot of patients, he answers all my questions in such a detailed manner that I leave every appointment feeling fully informed. When I experienced discomfort after my procedure, I called Dr. Cheng even though it was a Saturday. He called me back within 5 minutes and provided me with remedies that immediately put me at ease and helped me recover. Chronic pain is difficult to deal with, but I feel like Dr. Cheng gives me the care and support I need to still live my life fully."

"He hit a nerve with the lumbar epidural. 10 months later and I am still suffering. I cannot sit, therefore my life has become very limited. Be careful here. DO you need a lumbar or an SI joint epidural? Afterward Dr Cheng was very unprofessional and rude toward me. This was intense severe pain as if someone had shot me in the glute. It has been getting VERY slowly better but I still cannot sit for over 1 hour during a 24 hour period. I have since been under the care of a Neurosurgeon at Northwestern. I suggest NW instead of Rush for your needs."

"I was trying to get get an appointment with him and traffic made me to reach his office a little late. He was not ready to even see me even though the office staff told me there are no patients waiting. I was driving from Chicago to Indiana to get the earliest availability since I was suffering from severe pain. He or his office staff was not even ready to hear my issues or even paying enough attention to me. Really sad about the professionalism he showed."
