"Valerie at Black Sheep Acupuncture is so lovely! She's warm, friendly, and the kind of person you just want to be around. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and helped to treat my health concerns. The space itself is quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to rest and recharge. I'm so glad I was referred to Black Sheep!"

"I had an amazing experience during my acupuncture visit with Valerie yesterday. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough, making me feel at ease throughout the session. The facility was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. After just one night, I already noticed a significant improvement in my shoulder pain. I highly recommend Valerie for anyone seeking effective and professional acupuncture care!"

"Valerie is THE BEST! My very first acupuncture experience, and I'm not going to lie, I was extremely nervous. Valerie helped to put that to rest. I started coming the beginning of August, and have been going at least once a week ever since. She listens to you and does her best to accommodate whatever you are having problems with. Check her out, you will not be disappointed! Also, she's very flexible in terms of appt times."

"Yeah, I really like this place. It is an open-space clinic rather than private rooms. Treatment is limited to head and neck, forearms and hands, shins and feet, but is most effective none-the -less. It might even be more effective than treatment applied to the torso. The proprietor, Val, is warm and easy-going. I think she has done some pretty impressive work for me. I went there first for my left knee, which I had severely injured in a rock climbing accident. It was swollen, red, painful and not responding to the usual r.i.c.e. treatment. In face, it was getting worse. First session: Val worked primarily on that knee, with balance and extension into other parts of the body. The next morning the swelling was GONE, the pain was down to moderate-to-ignorable. The Knee recovered nicely. I have been seeing Val with some regularity for the past few years and I JUST DON'T GET SICK anymore. I mean, not hardly at all. I still fall a lot, tho... not a stellar climber, I. I have other stories, but you should check her out and get some of your own. Oh, yeah, check out the prices, too. I forget the range right now, something like $20-$40 per session, your choice. I have had whole-body acupuncture. You know, the kind where they give you a private room, let you undress, stick you with pins and then LEAVE THE ROOM for 30-40 minutes, come back and remove the pins. Those cost from $60 to $100 per session or more. In this group clinic environment, Val is there the whole time. Not talking to YOU maybe, but only a quick grunt away."

"After a terrible first experience with acupuncture I was very nervous! Valerie is so Amazing! She is such a nice person and has her practice so organized! I'm driving 40 minutes one way to see her that is how good she is! Everything is very clean and calming. Any no, we are not related with the same last name."

"I've been to Black Sheep many times over the last 4 years. I love the concept of the community group. It saves me time and gets me feeling better quickly. Valerie is so sweet - she is kind and gentle. I highly recommend seeing her for what ails you. You will not be disappointed. Btw - Valerie has been working within COVID protocols since way before COVID. Clean and comfortable atmosphere."
