Testimonials
"Surprisingly quick to schedule and to be seen. I am confident in and happy with the treatment I received."
"4/29/2025: doctor 1.5 hour late! Despite having made an appointment. Despite the multiple texts to be on time and even to be there 20 minutes early. It is a tiny office - obviously gobbled up by OrthoVirginia Corporation. The waiting room is full to the brim with patients waiting like me. The 7 chairs they have are taken, so two others are standing. More patients are arriving and checking in. I am losing hope that I would see a doctor in the next hour. I will NEVER come to this OV location! I have been to the McLean OV location where things are actually organized and staff are punctual. UPDATE: I am raising this to 2 stars since the doctor has a nice manner. But still, it took over 2+ hours in there, waiting in the waiting room then waiting in the exam room. I will not return or recommend."
"I was able to get a quick appointment with Dr. Danaseau. I arrived a few minutes late (thanks to an Uber driver getting lost), but was met with nothing but understanding and patience. Dr. Danaseau's staff got me into x-ray quickly, which was easy and smooth. The Doctor himself came in and gave me his full attention inspecting my injury. While I was shocked he didn't issue an ultrasound or MRI - he must have not felt they were needed. Regardless, I left feeling good about the experience and his diagnosis. My only complaint of the visit was with the person who handled the check out process. I was handed a paper and dismissed with an attitude. When I asked about PT options, she seemed completely annoyed and handed me a paper that must have been photocopied 20 times. She didn't say anything, but her nonverbals said everything, loudly. Even her co-workers seemed to notice. It was just a shame that she was the last experience of a really great visit."
"Could not have asked for a better experience! My 7 year old had a shoulder injury that was not getting better and we were able to get an appointment with just 30 minutes notice. We waited maybe 5 minutes in the waiting room and then maybe another 5 in the exam room. The staff, radiologist and doctor were all super friendly to both me and my son. They all seemed very knowledgeable and were also really efficient so we are super happy and will absolutely use this office again for future injuries."
"Dr. Danaceau is a wonderful doctor...always attentive, kind, and understanding. He has helped me enormously in my recovery from a very bad wrist fracture and is also helping me with my shoulder. He and his staff are efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend this practice for any orthopedic needs."
"Dr. Danaceau is carrying, compassionate and an excellent physician. The staff are professional and competent and treat every patient with respect. Everyone is attentive, listens to the patient and take time to explain your condition, procedures and recovery. Dr. Danaceau is patient-centric and will help you recover and realize your goals."
"Dr. Danaseau is an outstanding surgeon. He is caring and compassionate which is not always the case with others. I would trust him to do any surgery and you can always count on followup. He is easy to get in touch with to answer questions which is so important."
"Have known Dr. Danaceau and his practice for a long time. I was able to get a quick same day appointment due to a cancellation. The front desk, the nurse and the radiologist were all very professional and efficient. Dr Danaceau is a rock star! He went over my areas of concern, and gave me a treatment option consisting of medicine and physical therapy. The whole end to end process to make the appointment, check in, see the nurse, get the X-rays and consult with the doctor was very quick and to the point."
