"I went to Dr Michale Schirripa for extreme back pain and knee pain .. he was so knowledgeable answered every question I had didn't rush me at all like most doctors today . He sent me for an mri which determined my back issue he then set out a plan of treatment for me and I have never felt better!!! At almost 60 years old it's nice to finally find a doctor who actually cares about his patients and is always available for them even with his busy schedule! I would highly recommend Dr Schirripa for his expertise, kindness and amazing bed side manner !!! You won't be disappointed"

"If I could give 0 stars, I would. My short-lived journey with Dr. Schirripa began December of 2024 and ended March of 2025. Long story short - he is far from empathetic or compassionate. He was dismissive, rude, and told me to find another doctor. I don't think I have ever actually met a doctor that cared LESS for their patients. Do not enter the field of pain management if you are not willing to help them manage their pain! Long story: I was referred to him by another TERRIBLE doctor within the Orlin + Cohen bubble after being injured by a student. As soon as I had seen the other doctor, I was 'diagnosed' with something I've come to learn takes a long time to diagnose (CRPS, its terrible. and early treatment is crucial). So I visit him and I'll admit that my first two visits, he was kind and caring. Sure. But when I needed to follow up - silence. I called for WEEKS because the medicine he prescribed was never actually sent to my pharmacy. So I opted to schedule an appointment on Zocdoc because it was the ONLY way I'd get in contact with the office.... they were rude! I needed the appointment to tell them I needed the medicine they said would help me. I finally get the medicine, it doesn't help. But he's a pain management doctor! He is who I would see to MANAGE MY PAIN. The medical opinion he genuinely, actually shared with me in February? "Try putting lotion on" (my hands were experiencing the usual winter dryness AND my left hand was in so much pain, I could barely move my fingers). By March, I come to the decision that I cannot continue working, something he was supportive of UNTIL I ASKED IF HE COULD WRITE A LETTER STATING THAT. All of a sudden, I don't have CRPS. "You should find another doctor to help you" is what he said to me after he told me I was not experiencing any of they symptoms of what HE TOLD ME I had. Almost a year later - I have a new pain management doctor. Same diagnosis - which has progressed!"

"Excellent. Dr. Michael Schrippa is phenomenal. I had a local epidural shot in Hylan Blvd with another doctor who's no longer there and it was like I had gotten struck by lightning. I've had it done twice by Dr Michael Schrippa and I didn't feel a thing. He's the best. I highly recommend him to others."
