Testimonials
"I have met with this provider on 3 separate occasions to address my broken ankle. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but after the first visit her demeanor towards me was poor. She didn't really care to address my concerns regarding my ankle, she just tried to push me off to do physical therapy. I ended up going back to her office for the third and final time which is when she ordered an MRI and told me that it was really nothing wrong and I needed to go to physical therapy.I asked her when do I follow up with her she basically says just go to physical therapy, and ankle brace for a few months. I don't feel like I'm getting the proper care and I have discussed my concerns with my physical therapist who's now recommending that I see someone else for a second opinion. I'm almost even afraid to even reach out to this provider or her office for any additional help."
"I don't normally write reviews and usually give people benefit of the doubt but for this doctor, I just had to. I have had pain in my foot for the past year at this point and ended up with Dr. Spirt for diagnostics. On my first appointment, I had already told her the stretches that I had been doing (recommended from my PT) and that it made no difference and other tests that I have done such as X-Rays. She asked me to get an EMG test done. Once I got that completed, there was no follow up with the test results. I left multiple messages to which she didn't respond for weeks. Eventually I had to schedule an appointment with her just for her to tell me that she didn't detect anything from the tests and that she recommends me to continue doing the stretches. This doctor doesn't know what she's doing and will have you visit her just to make money. Overall, I ended up paying so much copay and I still don't know what is causing this burning pain in my foot."
"Dr. Spirt did a very complicated surgery on my ankle. Still grateful and zero scar!"
"Dr. Spirt performed a very complex operation on my heel bone, and did a phenomenal job. She was able to restore a severely fractured bone to anatomically normal, which I did not think would be possible given the severity of my injury. Her follow up has been terrific and she always answers any questions I may have. Even through the COVID-19 crisis, I was able to continue to see her for follow ups via telemedicine. I've just started physical therapy, and still have a long way to go in the healing process, but I'm at absolutely the best possible starting point because of Doctor Spirt and her talented team."
"Dr. Spirt took care of my ankle twice! My ankle feels amazing after getting the hardware a few weeks ago. I can barely see the scar. I extremely pleased with her as a orthopedic surgeon/doctor."
"My pain is EXTREME. WORSE than ever!! This doctor operated on my foot two weeks ago. Virtually NO POST-OP CARE! A few meds, then nothing. Called a week ago and got a msg back which was inappropriate. They said take my hydrocodone. I was NOT PRESCRIBED HYROCODONE! I was prescribed a few percocets. The message then said take ibuprofen!! What a joke!! I am disgusted. When these surgeons inflict EXCRUCIATING PAIN and do not MITIGATE IT, which they can with a simple prescription, it is ABSOLUTELY EGREGIOUS! People like this should not be allowed to continue practicing ! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENT'S WELLBEING!!"
"She spent lots of time with my 10-year-old son who hurt his ankle snow boarding. She found lots of things to relate to him with very personable! I would highly recommend Dr. Spirt"
"Absolutely horrible. I regret letting her operate on my ankle. Six years later and the problems were are worse than before the surgery. Additionally, I woke from the surgery on my ANKLE with paralysis in my right ARM and SHOULDER. Adrienne Sprit should not have a medical license."
