He referred me to a physical therapist, who has been effective, and gave me a cortisone inject in the shoulder, which has relieved some of the pain. The nice thing about working with him is he takes the time to discuss options."

"My wife has chronic pain. After her MRI, Dr. Desai never got in touch with her to discuss the results, nor has he responded to any messages. At his instruction, she sent him messages about increased strength lidocaine creams or patches, to which he never responded. This is unacceptable for pain management. Patients are in distress and do not deserve to be ghosted. Reading other reviews, it seems like if he doesn't understand the etiology of the pain, he simply ceases to engage with patients, especially if the patient is a woman."
