"The facility I work for recently referred a client with complex needs and circumstances to the PARC. Carolyn Tait and the staff there went above and beyond to accept this person, finding a way to make it work when many other facilities we referred to did not. They were truly angels in a time of great need for our client, and we are extremely grateful for their patient-centered persistence and willingness to do whatever it took to help. They're wonderful people who truly care!"

Yolanda Smith

"This facility has been a major letdown. A majority of the staff appear indifferent and disengaged, showing little concern for the well-being of the residents. The food is consistently poor, housekeeping is below acceptable standards, and the administration lacks professionalism and empathy. When serious concerns and signs of neglect were brought to the attention of administrative personnel, the response was dismissive. Instead of addressing the issues, the focus was on managing their image on social media. That kind of misplaced priority is unacceptable in a care environment. This place needs serious oversight--or to be shut down entirely. Families entrust their loved ones to this facility expecting care, dignity, and respect. What they're getting is so far from it!!!!"

Kate Russell

"The Parc truly cares about its patients. The staff is incredibly compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable and provided support every step of the way. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable recovery. They made my loved one feel valued and supported throughout the entire rehabilitation process. I can't say enough good things about The Parc and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality rehabilitation care!"

"The parc is a great place for your loved one! Carolyn and the staff are very compassionate, supportive and a true blessing. They made the process easy and quick for my family member. He was pleased with his care, enjoyed the staff and all the facility had to offer. Parc will be my choice for family and friends in the Joliet area."

"This establishment is an absolute circus. It feels necessary to evaluate every single employee to determine whether they genuinely care about helping people or if they're simply clocking in for a paycheck. The reality that you're all aware of the negative reviews and still choose not to take action speaks volumes about your integrity. While there's plenty of polite conversation, there's a stark lack of real solutions to the problems at hand. It's simply unacceptable for my father to be suffering from bed sores--there's no justification for it, period! I am begging anyone who is considering sending their family members here to reconsider do the research and find the best-rated place."

"My brother was admitted to The Parc in December 2024 with Parkinson for physical therapy. By April 2025, we discovered he acquired a bed sore on his buttocks. Staff there got him dressed everyday and would literally let him sit in the lunch/TV room all day in a wheelchair without changing him. I personally witnessed him being soiled and demanded he be cleaned and changed. When he was being changed I noticed he did not have a diaper on which meant the bed sore was exposed to feces. On April 27, 2025, he was rushed to the hospital. The doctor informed me the bed sore became Septic which created an infection that spreaded to his right leg. The infection exacerbated his medical issue. He passed away 8 days later May 5, 2025. The one staff person that knew him personally who I thought had his back let this happen during her employment at this facility. This place needs to be shut down!!!"
