"I had a fine experience at Uptown Chiropractic Clinic when I stopped in (walk-in appt) as it relates to the care I received. Standard care for an adjustment and they had suggested electrode treatment for the neck issues which I immediately confirmed that it would be covered by my insurance. Two months later, I received a bill for an additional $18 with no explanation. After calling the clinic, and giving them time to research first and call me back, it was determined that the additional $18 is for electronic pads which they failed to mention would be in addition to what insurance covers. I understand that everyone is getting squeezed by insurance, but please, be transparent about your pricing. I'm sure I signed a form that had small print explaining that I am responsible for this, but when a patient specifically asks if a procedure is covered by standard Chiropractic care, please be forthcoming. And as for $18 for 4 pads....these cost $15 for a package of 50 or 30 cents each. That's an upcharge of 12 times! Unfortunately they lost a potential long-term customer."

The medications and treatments she suggests have all been holistic and haven't given me any of the egregious side effects the pharma garbage has. She's been very kind and patient and I'd highly recommend even if your problem extends outside the wheelhouse of normal chiropractic care.
